You will be working closely with our Cloud Architect, Solution Architects, Systems Engineers, Software Engineers, and Operations Engineering/Manager as well as Government counterparts to perform and manage our cloud solution, cloud computing strategy and all associated documentation.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>While most work is conducted on-site at our client location in Bethesda, MD, we offer a flexible schedule and, occasionally, some tasks may be performed remotely.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">As a Cloud Engineer, you will collaborate with our engineering and infrastructure teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the program. </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.</li>\n<li>Employing exceptional problem-solving skills.</li>\n<li>Building and designing web services in the cloud.</li>\n<li>Designing and implementing cloud-based platforms throughout the program.</li>\n<li>Coordinate with DTP team to prioritize product backlogs for sprints and releases.</li>\n<li>Assist with monitoring &amp; reporting technical variances; facilitate resolution of technical issues that adversely</li>\n<li>impact successful product delivery or total system cost.</li>\n<li>Assist with identifying and supporting external dependencies where needed.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">To be successful in this role you need (required):</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or related technical field or equivalent experience with 8-12 years in systems engineering or other relevant field. Master’s degree with 6+years’ experience.  </li>\n<li>Must have an active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance</li>\n<li>Possess at least one DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or higher certification, e.g., CCNA Security, CySA+, Security+ CE, SSCP, CISSP (or Associate)</li>\n<li>Ability to obtain Privileged User Account (PUA) certification per DoD 8570 policy</li>\n<li>Experience with Commercial Cloud Services (C2S)</li>\n<li>Knowledge of classified environment’s security enclave</li>\n<li>Experience with cloud-based services, preferably AWS, for enterprise applications</li>\n<li>Cloud Admin Skills in AWS -- ec2, elb/alb, s3, efs, vpc, aws cli, cloud theory</li>\n<li>Experience with Amazon EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service)</li>\n<li>Experience with container deployment platforms such as Kubernetes, Openshift</li>\n<li>Experience with SecDevOps and CI/CD pipeline</li>\n<li>Experience working with Linux operating system.</li>\n<li>Knowledge of web services: API, REST</li>\n<li>Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols</li>\n<li>Extensive experience with open-source technology, software development and system engineering.</li>\n<li>Experience developing basic tooling and scripting: UNIX shell, Python, Perl or similar.  </li>\n<li>IaC coding scripting (CDK/Cloud formation preferred)\\</li>\n<li>Salt (preferred) or some other config management tool, e.g., Ansible</li>\n<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to collaborate with customer representatives, domain experts, systems engineers, and architects.</li>\n<li>Ability to work well/collaborate with people from many different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience.<br><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">You will wow us even more if you have:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>AWS cloud certifications  </li>\n<li>Experience with micro services architecture</li>\n<li>Experience and domain knowledge related to data processing </li>\n<li>Experience with big data applications.</li>\n<li>Experience supporting DIA/NMEC, DIA/OSIC, and/or D3P</li>\n<li>OSINT familiarity</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Who We Are </span></em></span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt\"><em><span>Sunayu, LLC serves as a premier technology partner to the Defense and Intelligence communities, delivering mission-critical engineering solutions across the nation.
