This role is essential in supporting patient recovery, monitoring clinical conditions, and delivering compassionate, high-quality care.</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Position Details</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Employment Type: PRN (as needed)</li>\n<li>Department: Medical/Surgical Unit</li>\n<li>Schedule: Flexible; shifts and days vary</li>\n<li>Travel: None required</li>\n<li>Supervisory Responsibilities: None</li>\n<li>Compensation: Commensurate with experience</li>\n<li>New Graduates: Encouraged to apply</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Key Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and treatments within scope of practice</li>\n<li>Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the care team</li>\n<li>Assist with procedures and support patient care activities</li>\n<li>Educate patients and families regarding care plans and recovery</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory standards</li>\n<li>Collaborate with Registered Nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members</li>\n<li>Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive care environment</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Minimum Qualifications</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Licensure: Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina</li>\n<li>Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification – required</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Core Competencies</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills</li>\n<li>Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care</li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a team environment</li>\n<li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills</li>\n<li>Willingness to learn and grow in a clinical setting</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Employment Requirements</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Compliance with all hospital policies, including vaccination requirements (approved exemptions considered)</li>\n<li>Successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening (post-offer)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 18pt\">Benefits</span></p>\n<p>PRN employees are eligible for select benefits in accordance with hospital policy.
