    "description_html": "<p><strong>Shift: Monday - Friday, 5am - 1:45pm</strong></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Maintains/diagnoses/repairs off-road equipment, primarily forklifts, scrubbers, walkie-rider lifts, straddle jacks and pallet jacks.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Duties and Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Trouble shoots and accurately diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic malfunctions.</li><li>Determines parts and supplies needed to effectively repair or maintain units and orders through parts procurement process.</li><li>Must perform cutting, welding, or grinding to complete repairs.</li><li>Performs all scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance in a manner that is consistent with company and industry standards to maintain cost efficiency and provide maximum up-time for the warehousing and facility maintenance operations.</li><li>Maintains vehicle maintenance files as required by Company standard maintenance protocol.</li><li>Immediately repairs or removes from service if any unit does not meet Company or OSHA safety standards in an effort to eliminate exposure to risk or injury.</li><li>Must provide all necessary tools and diagnostic equipment needed to efficiently maintain Company off-road equipment.</li><li>Must occasionally make repairs at other Company branches or off site.</li><li>Must adhere to strict safe working practices, company policies, rules, and regulations. Must correct obvious hazards immediately or report to supervisor if not immediately correctable.</li><li>Other duties as assigned.</li></ul><p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li><li>3-5 years on the job experience as a forklift technician</li><li>Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements</li><li>In person travel within the service territories of Silver Eagle required</li><li>Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) certifications, definite plus</li><li>Must be able to safely operate a pallet jack, electric fork-lift</li><li>Must have a valid Texas Driver’s License and driving record within MVR policy guidelines</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirement:</strong></p><ul><li>Talk, hear, and see (including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus)</li><li>Frequent climbing, pushing, pulling and maneuvering dolly, hand truck, bay roll up doors, straps, curb ramps, truck doors, boxes, cases, kegs, truck gear shift</li><li>Ability to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds</li><li>Must regularly lift and move up to 100lbs</li><li>Pushing/pulling: up to 100lbs force for turning wrenches, pulling out parts</li><li>Ability to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel and crawl to inspect and or wash vehicles</li><li>Ability to communicate verbally and in writing</li><li>Ability to hear voice commands in areas with a high level of background noise</li><li>Ability to demonstrate or learn to safely handle large trucks in a critically safe and precise manner within very constrained and compact areas</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions:</strong></p><ul><li>All weather conditions (indoor &amp; outdoor) including high temperatures, cool/cold temperatures, wind, ice, humidity, rain, fog, hail, sleet and snow</li><li>Daylight, twilight, evening and dark lighting conditions</li><li>Noise, vibration, dust, dirt, airborne particles, fumes</li><li>Work hours will vary daily due to business needs</li></ul><p><strong>The Perks:</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive compensation with access to on-demand pay</li><li>A full range of benefits including medical, dental and vision insurance</li><li>401(k) with a company match</li><li>Paid time off, paid holidays, and paid parental leave</li><li>Annual tool reimbursement program</li><li>Tuition reimbursement program</li><li>Career development training</li><li>On-site gym facilities</li><li>Free beer and beverage gifts throughout the year</li></ul><p><strong>Pre-Employment Screening:</strong></p><ul><li>Drug test and background screen required</li></ul><p><br></p><p><em>All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.</em></p>",
