    "requisitionDescription": "<div>\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.45.22/styles/froala_editor.pkgd.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n    <link href=\"https://static.workforcenow.adp.com/mas/mdf-components/23.45.22/styles/froala_style.min.css\" rel=\"stylesheet\" type=\"text/css\" />\n\n    <div class=\"fr-view\">\n      <p id=\"isPasted\"><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p><strong>Summary/Objective</strong><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong><br>&nbsp;</strong>A Service Technician is a licensed Journeyman Electrician. &nbsp;Works under the guidance of Service Manager and may oversee and direct the work of a crew of 1 to 5 helpers or apprentices in installations, alterations, additions, and/or repair of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment on any type of project.<strong><br>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.</p><ol><li>May be required to perform any of the duties and responsibilities associated with Journeyman classification&nbsp;</li><li>Interprets drawings and develops an overall crew work plan.</li><li>Lays out work and preps materials for installation.</li><li>Does rigging and job set ups for all tasks performed or supervised.</li><li>Performs underground layout and rough-in.</li><li>Determines wire and conduit sizing.</li><li>Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles and installs electrical conduit using measuring devices, hand tools, threaders and hand or mechanical benders.</li><li>Installs BUSS feeders.</li><li>Performs switchgear installation and terminations.</li><li>Installs and connects power supply wiring, cables, conduit, and electrical apparatus in new and existing facilities following diagrams, schematics, or blueprints.</li><li>Troubleshoots and resolves problems in electrical circuits, systems, and equipment.</li><li>Operates any hand tools and equipment necessary to perform all associated tasks.</li><li>Understands and instructs assigned helpers in the safe operation of tools, use of equipment, electrical principles, and applicable codes.</li><li>Performs other project related duties and assignments as instructed by supervisor.</li><li>Meets attendance standards and complies with late/absence notification procedures.</li></ol><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Skills/Competencies</strong></p><ol><li>Basic Mathematical Skills</li><li>Technical and Mechanical Capacity</li><li>Communication&nbsp;</li><li>Proficiency</li><li>Ethical Capacity</li><li>Leadership</li></ol><p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility</strong><strong><br>&nbsp;</strong><strong>This position may have supervisory duties of Apprentice or Journeyman Electricians.</strong></p><p><strong>Work Environment<br>&nbsp;</strong>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.<strong><br>&nbsp;</strong></p><p><strong>Physical Demands<br>&nbsp;</strong>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. <strong>This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds.</strong> Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Position Type/Expected Hours of Work<br>&nbsp;</strong>This is a full-time position.
