Must be able to balance technical defense strategies with high-level management of security frameworks to protect against sophisticated cyber threats.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>&nbsp;&nbsp;<strong>Compliance &amp; Auditing:</strong> Maintain and enforce security protocols in alignment with <strong>DoDM 8140.03</strong> standards.</li><li><strong>Network Defense:</strong> Monitor networks for security breaches and investigate violations using advanced Cyber Defense (CD) methodologies.</li><li><strong>Information Assurance:</strong> Manage the security posture of the enterprise, ensuring all technical and administrative controls are functioning as intended.</li><li><strong>Privileged Access Management:</strong> Oversee security for specific Operating Systems and Computing Environments (OS/CE), ensuring all personnel with privileged access are properly trained and certified.</li><li><strong>Risk Mitigation:</strong> Perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify potential weak points in the infrastructure and recommend remediation strategies.</li><li><strong>Technical Proficiency:</strong> Deep understanding of network security, encryption, and threat detection tools.</li><li><strong>Strategic Thinking:</strong> The ability to navigate complex IAM frameworks to align security goals with organizational objectives.</li><li><strong>Analytical Problem Solving:</strong> A proven track record of identifying system vulnerabilities and implementing effective, long-term solutions.</li><li><strong>Interpersonal Skills:</strong> The ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical security risks to leadership&nbsp;</li><li><strong>Travel may be required</strong></li></ul><p><br></p>",
