In directing the operations of the maintenance personnel, will work to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency.</p>\n<h2><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Plans, directs, layouts and coordinates the activities of the assigned Maintenance Department so as to minimize delays and increase production and efficiency. The Lead Technician is a working member of the maintenance group and is directly responsible to the Supervisor of Maintenance. </li>\n <li>The Lead Technician will not be required to lead or direct more than 18 employees. </li>\n <li>Trains and assists subordinates in proper procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty. </li>\n <li>Maintains the work areas, building, ground support equipment and materials that are utilized for aircraft maintenance in safe, clean and operable condition. </li>\n <li>Makes certain that the responsible mechanic properly executes all necessary work records. </li>\n <li>Properly coordinates between assigned maintenance personnel and the Inspection Department. </li>\n <li>Delegates the duties of the Lead technician. However, such delegation does not relieve the Lead technician of the overall responsibilities. </li>\n <li>Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs. </li>\n <li>Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs. </li>\n <li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Position Specifics</h2>\n<h1><strong>Qualifications</strong></h1>Required\n<ul>\n <li>FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification. </li>\n <li>One year of experience on turbine powered aircraft with maximum gross takeoff weight (MGTOW) of 12,500 lbs.  </li>\n <li>Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance processes and ability to utilize applicable Manuals (GMM, AMM, FIM, Wiring diagrams etc.). </li>\n <li>Run Taxi/Qualified (within 120 days) including AMA, if applicable. </li>\n <li>Competent in the use of required calibrated test equipment. </li>\n <li>In good company standing (STEP 1 violations considered). </li>\n <li>PSA Indoctrination training and General Familiarization (training qualifications accepted). </li>\n <li>Good organizational and communication skills. </li>\n <li>Airworthiness Release Qualified within 90 days. </li>\n <li>Must possess or have ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position. </li>\n <li>Ability to speak/read/write in English.   </li>\n <li>If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the US.   </li>\n</ul>\n<h2><strong>Additional Information</strong></h2>\n<p><strong>Delegation:</strong> In absence, responsibilities delegated to Manager of Maintenance. </p>\n<p><strong>Authorities:</strong> None </p>\n<p><strong>Supervisory Responsibility:</strong>  This position leads others but does not have direct reports. </p>\n<p><strong>Work Environment:</strong> This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, facsimile machines and filing cabinets.</p>\n<p><strong>Physical Demands:</strong> The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
