Would you enjoy being part of a team working to change the world for the better?</p>\n<p>If you answered YES, then consider joining our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team!</p>\n<p>For over 50 years -- The Glenholme School, part of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health, has provided a comprehensive residential program and services for children with learning differences and special needs. Located in picturesque Washington, CT the Residential Coordinator Supervisor position will be part of a cohesive, passionate and dynamic team. The selected candidate will foster Devereux’s mission and values of quality care as well as providing top-notch and individualized therapeutic care for our students.</p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:</strong></p>\n<p>Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday: 3pm-11pm</p>\n<p>One weekend every 3 weeks, Saturday and Sunday 12pm-8pm </p>\n<p><strong>Primary Responsibilities Include:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the management and overall development of Direct Care Professionals (DCP’s) working on the second shift.</li>\n <li>Manages student behavior on campus: effectively de-escalates students as needed, leads/supports behavioral follow-up and intervention, ensures student and staff safety throughout crisis situations.</li>\n <li>Responsible for promoting and otherwise maintaining the safety of campus and all of its’ inhabitance at all times.</li>\n <li>Manages by walking around to each group and/or cottage multiple times each shift to inspect what is expected of all staff and students.</li>\n <li>Serves as an integral member of the Leadership Team.</li>\n <li>Effectively organizes and manages the assigned shift on a daily-basis by coordinating relevant shift information, prioritizing scheduling needs, and communicating information to the team in a timely fashion.</li>\n <li>Leads all campus dismissals and effectively serves as a leader on shift for all functions and gatherings – student or otherwise.</li>\n <li>Provides feedback and coaching to employees on shift, and actively monitors, reports, and documents feedback, performance, and development.</li>\n <li>Assists, on occasion, with interviewing and hiring needs of the department.</li>\n <li>Documents the relevant shift happenings using internal reporting/data-collection tools.</li>\n <li>Ensures that standards and values of campus are upheld at all times, and follows-up with students and staff where appropriate.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>#sponsored</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><u>Minimum Qualifications</u>:</p>\n<ul>\n <li>Be at least 21 years of age</li>\n <li>Possess and maintains a valid drivers’ license </li>\n <li>Experience in the Human Services field working with children, adolescents, and adults</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in psychology, sociology, education or related field is preferred </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p><strong>Company Overview</strong> </p>\n<p>Devereux is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations, providing services, insight and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare.
