    "description": "<h2>What you'll bring to the team</h2>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Are you ready to join our AWESOME Security Team?</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role requires you to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and MCs, (Model Citizens/Employees), whilst also observing all Safety and Security procedures. Provide a high level of customer service to all MCs and guests while providing them a secure environment.  Will complete injury/incident reports and ensure safety and security compliance throughout the Resort.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:</strong></p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>1.   Operations</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Maintains access control</li>\n <li>Patrols Park, Hotel, Sea Life Aquarium and all employee areas</li>\n <li>Writes detailed and accurate incident/injury reports</li>\n <li>Responds to calls for service including but not limited to:</li>\n</ul>\n<li>Disturbances</li>\n<li>Lost children</li>\n<li>Intoxicated/disorderly persons</li>\n<li>Lost/stolen items</li>\n<li>Theft</li>\n<li>Vandalism</li>\n<li>On-property traffic collisions</li>\n<li>Medical incidents (alongside Park Health Services team)</li>\n<li>Fire/panic alarms</li>\n<li>Money escorts</li>\n<li>Key assists</li>\n<li>Suspicious person reports</li>\n<ul>\n <li>Operates Park Dispatch Center (utilizing CAD operating system)</li>\n <li>Surveillance of Resort utilizing CCTV system</li>\n <li>Guest screening at park entrances (bag checks)</li>\n <li>Employee/vendor entrance / exit screening</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>2.   Marketing</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Work within the constraints of our annual budget.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>3.   Financial</em></strong><strong><em>      </em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Will work alongside Profit Protection team to investigate and document instances of theft, ticket scalping, or related issues</li>\n <li>   Provide surveillance (both in uniform and in plain clothes)</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em>4.   Development</em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide training to new hires in the Security Department.</li>\n <li>Provide training to other departments as needed or requested.</li>\n <li>Will receive training as appropriate for the position or other work details.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong><em>5.   People</em></strong><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Provide excellent service and customer/guest relations to all MCs and Park guests</li>\n <li>Respond to guest disturbances and deescalate situations. If unable to deescalate, activate CPD.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong><em> </em></strong></p>\n<li><strong><em>Health & Safety:</em></strong></li>\n<ul>\n <li>Will provide CPR, basic First Aid, & AED use to guests and MC’s when necessary</li>\n <li>Record “Near Miss” incidents and enter into reporting system</li>\n <li>Assist with Facility Inspections and Safety Audits</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Employees are responsible for the safety of themselves, their colleagues and guests (where appropriate), in line with the Group Policy (HS001) and the law. In particular, they must ensure that they follow safe working procedures for all work activities that they undertake.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>They must not use any tools or equipment for which they have not been trained. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>When incidents do occur, they must ensure that they are reported to their line manager and must cooperate with any investigation as appropriate.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications & Experience</h2>\n<p>Excellent communication skills, reasoning and interpersonal skills are required in this job.  Excellent phone, radio and person to person communication skills are essential to this position.
