The Activity Manager is responsible for the organisation and delivery of a high-quality activity and excursion programme for students, which includes inspiring; training and managing Activity Leaders to achieve this goal. In addition, they also are responsible for the safe delivery and coordination of all logistics necessary for both onsite and off-site activities.
Key Responsibilities
Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.
Manage, lead, and inspire the activity team to deliver the activity programme.
Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their excursion and onsite activity experiences meets their expectations.
To ensure the activities operate to the highest standards of relevant Health & Safety and safeguarding.
Ensure cost-effective planning of the excursion and activity programme in line with centre budgets.
To manage, amend or cancel all attraction bookings, social spaces and transport in line with the requirements of the activity programme.
To be responsible for keeping accurate records of excursions and subsequent changes.
To ensure the Group Leader trip feedback form is completed in a timely manner using the appropriate QR codes.
Specific duties include:
Training, leading, supporting and inspiring the Activity Team.
To hold regular meetings with Group leaders and to assist in the Group leader induction process.
To prepare and update the activity programme in consultation with Centre Manager and the supporting Programme Manager.
To effectively upsell optional trips and ensure advertising in centre.
To ensure any supplementary attractions and coaches are booked within budget.
Working in consultation with Centre Manager on a weekly staff rota.
Responsible for creating daily working rotas for Activity Staff and making any amendments in consultation with Centre Manager.
Creating a positive working relationship with all stakeholders.
To work alongside the Welfare Manager to ensure that all risk assessments are completed and implemented by all the activity staff.
To assist with all student arrivals and departures.
To work with Director of Studies and Centre Manager on the centre split to ensure excursion programme requirements are met.
To carry out operational and residential duties to meet centre needs, as well as emergency phone cover on a rota basis.
To create a positive, inclusive and safe workplace environment.
Organisational Compliance
You’ll be expected to follow our company’s Code of Conduct and any local policies that cover academics, welfare, and safeguarding — basically, doing your bit to help create a safe and positive environment for everyone.
We also take Health & Safety seriously! You’ll need to stick to all safety rules, complete any required training, and follow any control measures from risk assessments to keep yourself and others safe.

In addition, they also are responsible for the safe delivery and coordination of all logistics necessary for both onsite and off-site activities. </span></p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Promoting and safeguarding the welfare of students for who you are responsible and with whom you come into contact.</span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Manage, lead, and inspire the activity team to deliver the activity programme. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Maximise student and group leader satisfaction by ensuring their excursion and onsite activity experiences meets their expectations. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To ensure the activities operate to the highest standards of relevant Health & Safety and safeguarding. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Ensure cost-effective planning of the excursion and activity programme in line with centre budgets. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To manage, amend or cancel all attraction bookings, social spaces and transport in line with the requirements of the activity programme. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To be responsible for keeping accurate records of excursions and subsequent changes. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To ensure the Group Leader trip feedback form is completed in a timely manner using the appropriate QR codes. </span></p></li></ul><p></p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Specific duties include:</strong></span></p><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Training, leading, supporting and inspiring the Activity Team. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To hold regular meetings with Group leaders and to assist in the Group leader induction process. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To prepare and update the activity programme in consultation with Centre Manager and the supporting Programme Manager. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To effectively upsell optional trips and ensure advertising in centre. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To ensure any supplementary attractions and coaches are booked within budget. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Working in consultation with Centre Manager on a weekly staff rota. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Responsible for creating daily working rotas for Activity Staff and making any amendments in consultation with Centre Manager. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">Creating a positive working relationship with all stakeholders. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To work alongside the Welfare Manager to ensure that all risk assessments are completed and implemented by all the activity staff. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To assist with all student arrivals and departures. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To work with Director of Studies and Centre Manager on the centre split to ensure excursion programme requirements are met. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To carry out operational and residential duties to meet centre needs, as well as emergency phone cover on a rota basis. </span></p></li></ul><ul><li><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">To create a positive, inclusive and safe workplace environment. </span></p></li></ul><p><br><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Organisational Compliance </strong></span></p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">You’ll be expected to follow our company’s Code of Conduct and any local policies that cover academics, welfare, and safeguarding — basically, doing your bit to help create a safe and positive environment for everyone. </span></p><p><span style=\"font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;\">We also take Health & Safety seriously!
