In this position, you will be responsible for the ongoing electrical maintenance and upkeep of all plant equipment and processes.  To insure that all plant equipment and facilities are inspected, maintained and repaired in a timely and cost-effective basis.  </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Essential Functions:</p>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <ul>\n  <ul>\n   <li>Familiar with and be able to follow electrical, mechanical and plant safety rules.</li>\n   <li>Able to use the storeroom system to locate spare parts and able to input work requests in the CMMS.</li>\n   <li>Able to operate plant mobile equipment.</li>\n   <li>Able to troubleshoot motors, transformers, electrical drives, starters, breakers, disconnects, electrical interlocks, temperature and pressure transmitters and similar devices.</li>\n   <li>Familiar with instrumentation and electronic circuits.</li>\n   <li>Familiar with PLC and PC programs and computer hardware.</li>\n   <li>Able to read blueprints and schematic diagrams.</li>\n   <li>Able to select and use proper tools and measuring devices.</li>\n   <li>Able to use cutting torch.</li>\n   <li>Familiar with safe rigging techniques.</li>\n   <li>Understand plant power distribution and AC/DC circuits.</li>\n   <li>Able to change out motors, fuses, electrical/mechanical valves, thermocouples, transducers and similar electrical and mechanical devices.</li>\n   <li>Able to perform coupling alignments.</li>\n   <li>Able to understand air Pollution control device operation and perform normal maintenance.  </li>\n   <li>Should be familiar with differnt lubrications requriements of the plant equipment. </li>\n   <li>Any other activities requested by the Supervisor that is consistent with this job classification and not include above.  </li>\n  </ul>\n </ul>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent from accredited institution is required.</li>\n <li>Two years technical or vocational school in the electrical field preferred.</li>\n <li>Able to work different extended hours, holidays and/or overtime as required</li>\n <li>Speak, read, write and understand English</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently, without constant supervision</li>\n <li>Able to work inside and outside in year-round weather conditions</li>\n <li>In good physical condition, able to lift and carry up to 75 lbs., sit and stand for extended periods of time, kneel, climb ladders and walk on mixed terrain and in confined spaces</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position requires the candidate to take and pass a written electrical aptitude test.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>Buzzi Unicem USA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
