    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Tier One Technologies is seeking a Mainframe Support Operator/Administrator to work with our US Government client.</li>\n <li>This will be a 100% remote Contract-to-Hire position.</li>\n <li>Must be a US Citizen.</li>\n <li>SELECTED CANDIDATES WITHOUT REQUIRED CLEARANCE WILL BE SUBJECT TO A FEDERAL GOVERNMENT BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION TO RECEIVE IT.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for supporting a large mainframe payroll application. </li>\n <li>Operate, monitor, and assist in the maintenance and integrity of the mainframe, peripherals, servers, and network.  </li>\n <li>Participate in Disaster Recovery and provided first level help desk support. </li>\n <li>Able to adapt to various operational duties in customized data centers.</li>\n <li>Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, including coordination with network engineers.</li>\n <li>Perform systems security administration functions.</li>\n <li>Other duties may include maintaining system documentation, system performance, and installing system wide software.</li>\n <li>Develop and monitor policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.</li>\n <li>Interact with users.</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Prior relevant experience in the IBM mainframe environment.</li>\n <li>Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.</li>\n <li>Must be a US Citizen (no dual citizenship).</li>\n <li>Ability to obtain DoD Public Trust clearance.</li>\n <li>Must not have traveled outside the US for a combined total of 6 months or more in the last 5 years.</li>\n <li>Must have resided in the US for the last 5 years.</li>\n</ul>",
