This is position will interact internally with Claims, Policy, Digital Transformation, IT, Actuarial and externally with key business partners.</p>\n<p><strong> </strong></p>\n<p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Responsible for the premium accounting and bordereaux reporting function of key stop loss program.</li>\n <li>Interact with internal teammates and external partners to ensure alignment on Stop Loss accounting issues.</li>\n <li>Drive operational efficiency initiatives that improve profitability and customer experience, lead practice of continual process improvement, and identify opportunities to outsource/automate repetitive functions successfully.</li>\n <li>Responsible for accurate and timely completion of department work product.</li>\n <li>Responsible for performing the following:\n  <ul>\n   <li>Monthly premium bordereaux reports and templates</li>\n   <li>Commissions payments registers and comparing to expenses reported on the premium bordereaux</li>\n   <li>Reconciliation of claims payments registers to monthly claims bordereaux reports</li>\n   <li>Reconciliation of receipts and suspense items to the premium bordereaux</li>\n   <li>Daily bank reports to validate accuracy of deposits and payments</li>\n   <li>Monthly aging report and status of unpaid premiums</li>\n  </ul></li>\n <li>Responsibility for the overview of bank accounts</li>\n <li>Partner with A&H Accounting & Reporting teams regarding bank reconciliations and G/L reconciliations.</li>\n <li>Research and resolve complex reconciliation issues and discrepancies.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>What YOU will bring to C&F:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Superior organizational and time management skills</li>\n <li>Produce quality output within tight timeframes while simultaneously managing multiple projects</li>\n <li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li>\n <li>Proactive problem solver with a proven ability to think independently</li>\n <li>Collaborative, innovative relationship builder</li>\n <li>Analytical, business minded approach to challenges</li>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably in accounting or related field desired</li>\n <li>3+ years experience in a mid-level finance and accounting position</li>\n <li>Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook</li>\n <li>Medical stop loss insurance experience a plus</li>\n <li>Connexure ESL (Formerly David Young Consulting) system experience desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>What C&F will bring to you</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation package</li>\n <li>Generous 401K employer match</li>\n <li>Employee Stock Purchase plan with employer matching</li>\n <li>Generous Paid Time Off</li>\n <li>Excellent benefits that go beyond health, dental & vision. The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $53,900.00 to a maximum of $79,100.00. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee’s contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range.
