    "description": "<h2>Working Hours/Days</h2>6:30amam – 3:00 pm Monday – Friday Saturdays & Sundays and callouts as needed.\n<h2>Basic Duties</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform service and repairs on construction equipment in the field for Altorfer’s customers. </li>\n <li>Troubleshoot and repair engine, hydraulic, electrical, and other systems.</li>\n <li>Provide excellent customer service to all customers.</li>\n <li>Operate equipment in a safe manner to find diagnostic errors, technical problems, and determine proper solutions.</li>\n <li>Establish and maintain a service oriented relationship with customers and supervisors. </li>\n <li>Order parts in equipment parts books or online.</li>\n <li>Complete service reports and enter the proper data into the computer systems.</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Successful completion of a formal technical training program with a minimum of four years’ experience in a service setting required.</li>\n <li>Must have engine, electrical, hydraulic, transmissions and diagnostic troubleshooting and repair skills. </li>\n <li>Computer literacy required. Must be familiar with programs such as Microsoft, Excel, Outlook, and CAT programs.</li>\n <li>Must be a self-starter with good time management</li>\n <li>Excellent planning & organizational skills required</li>\n <li>Must be team oriented and willing to adapt to change.</li>\n <li>CDL with air brake required.  Must have clean driving record.</li>\n <li>Ability to work overtime and some weekends when needed.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (written, e-mail, and verbal) are necessary.</li>\n <li>Must be able to lift up to 75lbs and provide your own tools. </li>\n <li>High School Diploma or equivalent is required.</li>\n <li>Must have a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. May on a continuous basis walk, bend and lift up to 75lbs. Will be required to wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields, hearing protection, etc.) for a given situation. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high. Must be flexible to work varying schedules and hours as needed. Occasional travel may be required.
