If you have prior experience in a maintenance role at a food production facility, electrical experience or ammonia/refrigeration experience, <strong>we want to talk to you TODAY!</strong>  With competitive pay and benefits, safe and stable work, and an environment that is caring and supportive, <strong>Kansas City Steak could become your next career move!</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Competitive Wages and Benefits:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Hourly wage for this position starts at $26.00 per hour up to $34.50 per hour depending on experience</li>\n <li>$3.00 per hour perfect attendance bonus to be paid out weekly</li>\n <li>Quarterly and annual perfect attendance bonus</li>\n <li>Family-friendly benefits including health, vision and dental</li>\n <li>401K Retirement Plan with company match</li>\n <li>Paid Vacation after 90 days of service</li>\n <li>Paid Holiday</li>\n <li>Employee Meat Purchase Sales</li>\n <li>Paid Life Insurance</li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>Maintenance Technician position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Fixing and maintaining mechanical equipment, buildings, and machines</li>\n <li>Rebuilding, repairing, and/or replacing equipment/machinery/parts</li>\n <li>Performing preventative maintenance</li>\n <li>Installing equipment/machinery/parts</li>\n <li>Inspecting and troubleshooting equipment and systems as directed by supervisor</li>\n <li>Complete daily required reporting as well as additional reports as instructed</li>\n <li>Collaboration with management and other departments regarding maintenance issues throughout the facility</li>\n <li>Complete all assignments in priority order as delegated by the supervisor</li>\n <li>Complete startup procedures when appropriate</li>\n <li>Notify supervisor of any unusual conditions which may result in downtime</li>\n <li>Complete assignment tickets in accurate and timely manner</li>\n <li>Record all crisis and unscheduled work orders on the assignment ticket</li>\n <li>Respond to crisis situations in an expedient manner</li>\n <li>Maintain tools in good working order</li>\n <li>Return all borrowed tools to owning area</li>\n <li>Complete all work & safety training as designated by plant management</li>\n <li>Respond to crisis situations as assigned by supervisor</li>\n <li>Ensure that all appropriate safety procedures are followed</li>\n <li>Participate in cost control measures including the return of all unused material to supply</li>\n <li>Maintain refrigeration system</li>\n <li>Other duties as assigned</li>\n</ul>\n<p>This is a safety sensitive position.  This is an on-site position.</p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Technician position should possess the following:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Demonstrated 2 years or more working in Maintenance</li>\n <li>Mechanical skills and understanding of basic machine functions</li>\n <li>Ability to use common tools such as hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches</li>\n <li>Basic computer skills</li>\n <li>Willingness to work and be on time when scheduled</li>\n <li>Ability to read, write and speak English preferred</li>\n <li>Strong work ethic and eye for detail</li>\n <li>Exemplary safety record (with previous employer)</li>\n <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal</li>\n <li>Prior industry experience preferred</li>\n <li>General knowledge of plant layout and production floor equipment and processes</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Must be at least 18 years of age or older.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide visa sponsorship at this time.</p>\n<h2>Company Overview</h2>\n<p>National Beef is a leader in producing fresh, chilled and further processed beef products for customers in the U.S. and worldwide.
