    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Company Profile</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">San Antonio Shoemakers (SAS), a San Antonio, Texas based privately held company, has been in business for over 40 years and has developed a reputation as a premier American manufacturer of high quality comfort footwear.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Position</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">SAS has an opening for a <strong>Shipping &amp; Picking Supervisor.</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li>Oversee all shipping &amp; order pulling employees to ensure all orders are processed in an efficient &amp; safe manner</li><li>Work with management to develop short &amp; long term strategies for the warehouse.</li><li>Communicate with Order Puller &amp; Shipping Leads regularly to understand the status of warehouse operations &amp; to provide guidance &amp; direction.</li><li>Create &amp; develop written procedures &amp; training materials for the warehouse.&nbsp;</li><li>Coordinate &amp; communicate with other department supervisors to identify &amp; resolve operational issues.</li><li>Monitor all shipping functions &amp; report concerns to warehouse manager</li><li>Assist in managing employee hours to stay in compliance of company standards.</li><li>Involved in all aspects of inventory control to achieve company goals</li><li>Assesses efficiency &amp; performance of shipping and order pulling activities; identifies &amp; recommends improvements to shift, department, &amp; facility</li><li>Manage multiple priorities effectively</li><li>Order &amp; maintain supplies to sufficient levels &amp; monitor consumer use</li><li>Attend regular meetings</li><li>Create employee credentials as needed</li><li>Assist &amp; help direct all departments within the distribution center.</li><li>Ensures the timely &amp; accurate fulfillment of orders.</li><li>Safety champion who encourages &amp; inspires other workers to make positive changes that create a safe &amp; healthy workplace.</li><li>Learn &amp; understand all domestic &amp; international shipments.</li><li>Responsible for analyzing data to assist in efficiencies</li><li>Conduct quarterly inventories as required</li><li><strong>Be Accountable</strong>: Whether you are shipping, coaching, or working on a project - be someone your teammates can rely on, self-motivated and self-directed</li><li><strong>Product Expert</strong>: Be the expert in the field by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of shipping best practices, &amp; shipping software.</li><li><strong>Customer Service</strong>: Demonstrate exceptional customer service.
