Position Summary The Exercise Science adjunct teaches courses in the Exercise Science concentration within the Health Science program, preparing and delivering in-person learning activities designed to achieve course outcomes. The adjunct will develop course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and content for the Course Management System (CMS).  They will evaluate and grade students’ class work, laboratory work, assignments, papers, and examinations, while holding a minimum of two regularly scheduled office hours per week throughout the semester. They must maintain and submit student attendance records, grades, and other required documentation by specified deadlines, as well as prepare and maintain course materials within the Salem College Course Management System for each course taught and communicate with enrolled students through a Salem email account. Additionally, participate in periodic meetings with supervisors, the division, or the College related to teaching responsibilities, as well as training and professional development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Teaches courses in the Exercise Science concentration within the Health Science program. Prepares and delivers in-person learning activities in order to achieve course outcomes Prepares course materials such as syllabi, homework assignments and material for Course Management System (CMS).
