To learn more about CMH, please visit our website at www.cmh.org.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Job Description</h2>\n<p><strong>Salary Range: </strong>$41.96 - $49.97</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Positon Summary:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Efficient flow of the Cardiorespiratory area which includes reviewing and updating patient scheduling processes, ensuring efficient workflow and development and updating of area specific policies and forms. </li>\n <li>Ensuring changes to processes and/or methods are communicated to staff.</li>\n <li>Staff training and oversight and participation in recruitment activities. </li>\n <li>Assisting in evaluating staff competency.</li>\n <li>Provision of strong technical support, consultation and interpretation in all aspects of Cardiac Testing.</li>\n <li>Responsible for troubleshooting, arranging equipment service, preventative maintenance and maintenance of associated records.</li>\n <li>Interacting with Technicians, Clerical Staff, managers, nurses and physicians.</li>\n <li>Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.</li>\n <li>Liasing with the Organizational Scheduling Office (OSO) for staff schedule builds and updates.</li>\n <li>Other duties as required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Posted hours do not constitute a guarantee that shifts will not be subject to change.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications Required:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Completion of secondary school or equivalent required.</li>\n <li>A member in good standing with the Canadian Society of Cardiovascular Technology (CSCT) and/or the Ontario Society of Cardiovascular Technology (OSCT) required.</li>\n <li>Advanced experience in performing ECGs, Holter Monitors and Stress Testing procedures required.</li>\n <li>Experience with Nuclear Cardiology required.</li>\n <li>Current BLSC certification required.</li>\n <li>Recent hospital experience required.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated commitment to the pursuit of continuing education.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to work responsibly in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Effective problem-solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced clinical environment.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving and team-building skills.</li>\n <li>Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) are essential.</li>\n <li>Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis is required.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><em>As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our patients, staff and community from COVID-19, subject to any accommodation required by applicable human rights legislation, Cambridge Memorial Hospital requires that all staff have received all required doses of a COVID-19 vaccine approved by Health Canada.</em></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><em>The successful external applicant is required to provide the applicable criminal record check, as requested by Human Resources, in accordance with federal and provincial legislation.
