    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Title:</span> Missions Coordinator</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Reports To:</span> Director of Discipleship</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Hours:</span>  20 hours/week, non-exempt (there is potential for growth and salaried role)</p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Benefits:</span>  In accordance with Cove Church Ministries Personnel Handbook</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Summary:</span></p>\n<p>The Missions Coordinator provides leadership and coordination for Cove Church Ministries’ local and global missions efforts. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with mission organizations, coordinating mission trip opportunities, and ensuring effective stewardship of resources allocated to missions. This position supports the mission of Cove Church Ministries by creating opportunities for the congregation to engage in serving, outreach, and global ministry initiatives that reflect the values of discovering hope, developing faith, and demonstrating love.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Requirements:</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Doctrinal/Theological:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must agree with Cove Church Ministries’ doctrinal standards as found in the Faith and Practice.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Qualifications:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>A high school diploma is required</li>\n<li>2+ years of experience in mission related field or social work is preferred</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Doctrinal/Theological:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must agree with the doctrinal standards of Cove Church.</li>\n<li>Must demonstrate a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Vision/Leadership:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to organize and execute missions’ initiatives and partnerships.</li>\n<li>Demonstrates strong planning, coordination, and follow-through.</li>\n<li>Supports the vision of discipleship through service and outreach.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Relational:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Builds strong relationships with mission partners, volunteers, and staff.</li>\n<li>Communicates clearly and effectively with participants and leadership.</li>\n<li>Works well across ministries and teams.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</span></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Missions Strategy &amp; Partnerships</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with mission partners aligned with Cove Church’s mission and values.</li>\n<li>Coordinate communication and ongoing engagement with supported organizations.</li>\n<li>Provide recommendations for new partnerships and ongoing support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Mission Trip Coordination</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, organize, and execute mission trip opportunities for the congregation.</li>\n<li>Coordinate logistics including scheduling, communication, registration, and preparation of participants.</li>\n<li>Ensure participants are informed, equipped, and supported throughout the process.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Budget &amp; Resource Stewardship</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the missions budget including allocation of funds to mission partners.</li>\n<li>Track expenses and ensure responsible stewardship of financial resources.</li>\n<li>Provide updates and recommendations related to missions funding and support.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Congregational Engagement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create opportunities for the congregation to engage in missions through trips, partnerships, and service initiatives.</li>\n<li>Communicate mission’s opportunities clearly and consistently.</li>\n<li>Help raise awareness of mission’s impact within the church.</li>\n</ul>",
