This position is designated as <strong>safety-sensitive</strong> in accordance with company policy.</p><hr><h2><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></h2><p>Essential functions include, but are not limited to:</p><ul><li>Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of temporary and permanent crash cushion systems.</li><li>Complete all required company safety training and adhere to established safety procedures.</li><li>Assist with loading and unloading trucks, as well as the delivery and pickup of equipment and materials.</li><li>Support completion of attenuator service requests as assigned.</li><li>Safely perform job duties in compliance with all safety-sensitive job requirements.</li><li>Work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments as needed; carry a company-issued phone when required.</li><li>Learn and safely operate tools such as hammer drills, grinders, impact wrenches, and other equipment necessary to perform job tasks.</li><li>Complete and submit required documentation (e.g., accident reports, time sheets, mileage reports) accurately and timely.</li><li>Maintain professional and respectful interactions with coworkers, customers, vendors, and the general public.</li><li>Comply with all applicable company policies, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations, including safety and environmental standards.</li><li>Perform duties in work zones that may include exposure to moving traffic, including high-speed roadways.</li><li>Perform work outdoors in varying environmental conditions, including extreme temperatures, with appropriate safety measures in place.</li><li>Perform work during nighttime operations utilizing company-provided lighting as needed.</li><li>Drive company vehicles as required and safely enter and exit traffic in accordance with defensive driving practices.</li><li>Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE</strong></h2><ul><li>Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)</li><li>Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions</li><li>Basic math skills sufficient to perform job duties</li><li>Ability to apply practical problem-solving skills and sound judgment</li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS</strong></h2><ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent preferred</li><li>Valid driver’s license required</li><li>Must meet company driving requirements and be insurable under the company’s insurance policy (candidates who do not meet insurability requirements may still be considered for non-driving roles, if available)</li><li>Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screening, which may include a background check, drug screening, and motor vehicle report, consistent with applicable laws</li><li>Experience using hand tools preferred</li><li>Previous construction, maintenance, or assembly experience is a plus</li></ul><hr><h2><strong>PHYSICAL AND WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS</strong></h2><ul><li>Ability to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, lifting, bending, and working in confined or restricted spaces, with or without reasonable accommodation</li><li>Ability to respond to emergency situations as they arise</li><li>Ability to work in active roadway environments with exposure to traffic</li><li>Ability to work in outdoor conditions, including extreme temperatures, for extended periods</li></ul><hr><h2><span style=\"font-size:12px;\">The Company is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other protected status under applicable law.</span></h2><p>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.</p>",
