This role is critical to maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-coordinated environment across all trades, with heavy emphasis on electrical, mechanical, and high-risk construction activities. The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and able to build strong relationships with field teams, subcontractors, and client representatives.</p><h2><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Lead daily on-site safety operations for a fast-paced, mission-critical construction project</p></li><li><p>Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and client-specific safety requirements</p></li><li><p>Conduct daily safety walks, audits, and inspections across all active work areas</p></li><li><p>Manage Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), LOTO procedures, hot work permits, confined space permits, and other high-risk activity controls</p></li><li><p>Facilitate site-specific safety orientations, weekly toolbox talks, and ongoing training sessions</p></li><li><p>Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, preparing reports and corrective action plans</p></li><li><p>Maintain thorough documentation: inspection logs, safety reports, permits, and regulatory files</p></li><li><p>Coordinate with project management, general contractor, subcontractors, and owner reps to enforce safety expectations</p></li><li><p>Support commissioning and energization activities, ensuring proper controls are in place</p></li><li><p>Monitor site housekeeping, access control, PPE compliance, and emergency-response readiness</p></li><li><p>Advocate for a consistent, positive safety culture across all crews and trades</p></li></ul><h2><strong>Qualifications</strong></h2><ul><li><p>5+ years of construction safety experience (data center or mission-critical preferred)</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of electrical safety, MEP systems, and industrial construction practices</p></li><li><p>OSHA 30 required; CHST, CSP, or other safety certifications strongly preferred</p></li><li><p>Experience with high-risk procedures such as LOTO, energized work, crane/lift operations, and confined space</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead, train, and build rapport across field teams</p></li><li><p>Strong documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a fast-moving environment with multiple contractors and shifting priorities</p></li></ul><h2><strong>Preferred Skills</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Experience on hyperscale data center projects (Meta, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Familiarity with owner-specific safety programs and commissioning protocols</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of root cause analysis and incident investigation methodologies</p></li><li><p>Ability to interpret and apply EPC/general-contractor safety requirements</p></li></ul><h2><strong>What We Offer</strong></h2><ul><li><p>Competitive salary and full benefits package</p></li><li><p>Long-term project and career advancement opportunities</p></li><li><p>Supportive leadership and a strong commitment to safety excellence</p></li><li><p>Opportunity to be part of one of the largest mission-critical buildouts in the region</p></li></ul>",
