    "requisitionDescription": "<div><div><div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">As an Arcade Game Technician, your days will be active and varied installing, repairing and providing mechanical support for arcade games throughout the greater US. You&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to install and support the arcade industry&rsquo;s newest equipment with all travel related expenses and travel time paid. At Shaffer, our service technicians build a strong sense of camaraderie with each other and take great pride in everything they do.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Responsibilities:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Install and repair arcade equipment across the U.S.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Set up and configure payment kiosks, POS systems, and card readers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain existing equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide post-sale support and training to customers</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate professionally with customers and team members</li></ul></div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Normal work hours are M-F 8-5 PM while in the office. Overtime likely when traveling.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to travel up to a week, two times per month for the periodic installations across the U.S. (this is an estimate)</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All expenses covered while traveling!</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Reporting office location preferred: Columbus, OH.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position Requirements</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong communicative skills including both verbal and written</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong electrical &amp; mechanical aptitude</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to troubleshoot equipment circuitry and mechanical assemblies</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Ability to follow manufacturers installation instructions and program settings.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Dependable and reliable, with the ability to work independently</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Detail oriented</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Physical Requirements</p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Lifting an average of 50 pounds</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Twisting of body</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Constant stooping and bending/squatting</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Climbing ladders</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Unloading equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Walking in and out of locations, as well as, in locations</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Why Shaffer:</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shaffer Distributing, established 95 years ago, stands as a national leader in the family entertainment center, arcade and vending equipment distribution industry.
