The role supports feed safety standards through the execution of dry and limited wet-cleaning activities in accordance with established sanitation procedures, GMP, HACCP requirements and company standards.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-size: 12pt\">The General Worker is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in production areas, equipment surroundings and elevated workspaces while minimizing contamination, dust accumulation and housekeeping risks.</span></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform scheduled cleaning and sanitation activities across production and operational areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct dry cleaning activities including sweeping, scraping, brushing, vacuuming and dust removal from designated areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Carry out approved wet-cleaning activities where required and authorized.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Remove accumulated feed dust, debris, spillages and waste materials from work areas.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Maintain cleanliness of floors, walkways, platforms and access routes.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Clean and maintain assigned areas including but not limited to:</span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Production floors and processing areas</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Railings, stairways and elevated walkways</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Silos and external surfaces</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conveyors and conveyor housings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Bucket elevators and surrounding structures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Mixer areas</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Pellet mill surroundings</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Bagging and packing areas</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Feed transfer points</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Storage rooms and utility spaces</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Waste collection areas</span></li>\n</ul>\n</li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Complete sanitation checklists and assigned cleaning records.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report sanitation deficiencies or maintenance concerns to the Shift Leader.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Record completion of assigned sanitation tasks.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Safety Compliance</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Wear and properly utilize all assigned PPE.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Follow all HACCP, sanitation, GMP and food/feed safety requirements.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Adhere to Lock-Out / Tag-Out procedures where applicable.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Comply with working-at-heights requirements and safe access procedures.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Report hazards, spillages, damaged equipment and unsafe conditions immediately.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Support dust control measures to minimize contamination and housekeeping risks.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Qualifications &amp; Experience</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Previous experience in industrial cleaning, manufacturing, feedmill, food processing or sanitation operations would be an asset. </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to follow procedures and work instructions.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Understanding of sanitation and hygiene standards.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ability to work independently and within teams.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Good communication skills.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Attention to detail.</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Working Conditions</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Standing and walking for extended periods.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lifting and moving heavy materials and equipment.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Climbing stairs and working at heights.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Working in dusty environments.</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Use of PPE and respiratory protection where required.</span></li>\n</ul>",
