The Porter is responsible for keeping the building secure and is the first point of contact for all emergencies</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p><ul><li>Responds to emergency calls, either from pull cord system or through pendant system depending on assigned community.</li><li>Main point of contact for all after hours phone calls.</li><li>Ensures that the building ground are clean and well maintained. Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of sidewalk areas, outside entrances and patio furniture.</li><li>Responsible for the dusting, vacuuming and general cleanliness of common areas in the community; including the kitchen, dining room, bathrooms, exercise rooms, library, and game room.</li><li>Takes all trash and recycle to the appropriate bins or dumpsters.</li><li>Ensures the security of the building by performing periodic walk-throughs, checking that all entry ways are secure.</li><li>Reports in and reads the logbook each shift to ensure accurate communication and documentation of any issues.</li></ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong>:</p><ul><li>401K with employer match available</li><li>Employee Assistance Program</li></ul>",
