Description
Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Skill Builder Position Overview The Mobile Response and Stabilization Services Skill Builder provides direct support and behavioral skill‑building services to children and families engaged in MRSS Stabilization Services. Working as part of the MRSS team, this role helps develop individualized MRSS Plans, establish goals, and support families through transition planning with the ultimate objective of strengthening family stability and connecting them with needed services.
Key Responsibilities Meet with families within 72 hours of the initial MRSS assessment to follow up and begin developing an MRSS Stabilization Plan. Provide MRSS Stabilization Services that honor each family and client’s strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences. Ensure fidelity to the MRSS model throughout service planning and delivery. Complete clinical records in the electronic health record (EHR) in accordance with agency standards. Conduct timely data collection and reporting. Support children and families in building skills to manage distress, behavioral health symptoms, and environmental or family dynamics. Meet agency‑established productivity standards. Maintain confidentiality, privacy, and security of all client records per agency policies. Participate regularly in supervision with the MRSS Supervisor/Manager to review cases, monitor key performance indicators, and support professional development. Provide assistance to teammates as appropriate and contribute to team‑based problem solving. Adapt quickly to changes in services, processes, or policies. Advocate for ongoing improvements to the quality and efficiency of clinical services. Demonstrate initiative and flexibility in taking on new responsibilities. Adhere to all agency policies and procedures. Qualifications Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in social work or a comparable human services field. Experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Skilled in time management, organizational and follow-up skills Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Skills & Requirements:

Must be able to provide mobile-response services by operating their own vehicle. The MRSS teams are community-based/in-home services that are headquartered in an office environment. Ongoing collaboration and consultation occurs during the day face-to-face and virtually/over-the-phone. Exposed to a combination of office, school and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to children with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and children who are upset.
