Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, the Department of Defense and often focused on the space initiatives of our government customers.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>I2X Technologies is seeking a DCO Engineer</strong> to support ongoing activities for a customer in Buckley SFB. <strong>This position will be on-site and will require an active *Top Secret with SCI eligibility.</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Require a Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) SME with a desire to actively defend the mission systems critical to our national defense. </li>\n <li>Lead individuals towards common goals and work with engineers to apply extensive expertise on multiple complex work assignments. </li>\n <li>Assignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks. </li>\n <li>Leads the development of DCO methodologies and presents solutions to problems. </li>\n <li>Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable. </li>\n <li>Consults on IT and cyber defensive architecture and technologies. </li>\n <li>Assesses assigned cyber key terrain to thoroughly understand the mission, architecture and associated threat. </li>\n <li>Advises on technical design and implementation of DCO capabilities required to effectively protect, detect and respond to cyber threats and attacks. </li>\n <li>Researches cyber defense technologies for best fit based on mission, architecture and current threat. </li>\n <li>Leads the design, implementation, configuration and/or tuning of cyber defensive technology. </li>\n <li>Authors documentation to include SOPs, checklists, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, crew binders, etc. to support DCO. </li>\n <li>Adapts technologies to meet the mission architecture and threat. </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor's degree required</li>\n <li>5 years of technical experience in cyber-defense or cyber security related fields (e.g., engineering, networking, systems integration, solutions etc.). </li>\n <li>5 years of professional technical experience (these years may be in conjunction with #2) </li>\n <li>Experience years must come from at least 2 of the following areas: </li>\n <li>-Container or virtual environments (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, VMware, AWS) </li>\n <li>-In-band and out-of-band test access points for network traffic collection and aggregation (e.g. Gigamon)</li>\n <li> -Data storage solutions (e.g. NFS storage, distributed storage, Ceph Ruck storage, etc.) </li>\n <li>-Data-analysis toolsets (e.g. Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana, Splunk, etc.) </li>\n <li>–Agile frameworks for software development, </li>\n <li>-Linux operating systems (Red Hat, Kali, etc.), </li>\n <li>-Windows operating systems, </li>\n <li>-Network infrastructure, </li>\n <li>-Security applications (Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response [SOAR], Security Information and Events Management [SIEM], Intrusion Detection Systems [IDS], etc.)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<ul>\n <li><strong>DoD 8140 Work Role: 521:</strong></li>\n <li>BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or Software Engineering. </li>\n <li>One of the following certifications:</li>\n <li>DAU DCWF 521 Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist - Intermediate Playlist</li>\n <li>CIN A-531-1900 Joint Cyber Analysis Course (JCAC)</li>\n <li>DISA (521) Training DCWF Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist  OR</li>\n <li>Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)</li>\n <li>CompTIA Cloud+</li>\n <li>CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst (CySA+)</li>\n <li>CompTIA PenTest+</li>\n <li>CompTIA Security+</li>\n <li>GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON)</li>\n <li>GIAC Response and Industrial Defense (GRID)</li>\n <li>GIAC Security Essentials Certification (GSEC)</li>\n <li>Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:</strong></p>\n<p>US Citizenship is required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is listed .
