They will prepare a variety of cakes, desserts and pastries consistently at a high rate of speed; mix creams, sauces, fillings and icings; apply finishing work to cakes; take guest orders by phone and in-person; and assist the bakers and bakery clerks as needed while maintaining a clean, sanitary and attractive work environment. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>This position requires the candidate to be available to help out in our locations in Marin (Novato, Corte Madera and Tiburon.)</strong></p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p>You should meet the following requirements: </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 18 years of age</li>\n <li>Ability to read and write in English</li>\n <li>An eye for color, texture and design with an attention to detail</li>\n <li>Experience in a retail environment producing a large number of cakes/pastries</li>\n <li>Ability to work at a fast pace while staying focused on completing individual tasks</li>\n <li>Basic understanding of the English language, which includes the ability to communicate, read and write basic instructions, schedules and signage</li>\n <li>A positive attitude is essential!</li>\n</ul>\n<p>Our hiring team will reach out via text or email once we’ve reviewed your application.</p>",
