Through skilled care, proactive prevention, and Christ-centered compassion, the Athletic Trainer serves as a trusted resource for athletes, coaches, and families, promoting wise stewardship of the body and a commitment to excellence in care. In doing so, this role contributes to the holistic development of each student-athlete spiritually, mentally, and physically, helping cultivate a culture where athletes compete with integrity, recover with wisdom, and grow in resilience, reflecting Christlike character both in sport and in life.</span><br></p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Forge Athletic Team Purpose Statement:</span></p>\n<p>Forge Athletics exists to glorify God in every aspect of sport while advancing the mission and vision of Forge Christian High School. Through relational leadership, servant-hearted coaching, and a commitment to excellence in both character and performance, we develop coaches and student-athletes spiritually, mentally, and physically. We strive to build a culture where excellence is demonstrated on the field and in Christlike character, where mentorship, integrity, and teamwork reflect the gospel in action.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Primary Responsibilities:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide athletic training services to student-athletes, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation support</li>\n<li>Assess and respond to athletic injuries during practices, games, and events, including emergency care when necessary</li>\n<li>Develop and implement injury prevention programs, conditioning support, and return-to-play plans</li>\n<li>Collaborate with coaches, the Athletic Team, and external medical providers to support athlete health and performance</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and timely documentation of injuries, treatments, and athlete progress in accordance with applicable standards</li>\n<li>Communicate clearly with student-athletes, parents, and staff regarding injuries, care plans, and participation status</li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and athletic training regulations and best practices</li>\n<li>Prepare for and provide coverage at assigned athletic events, including practices, games, and postseason activities</li>\n<li>Maintain and manage athletic training equipment, supplies, and treatment areas to ensure readiness and safety</li>\n<li>Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and care within all athletic programs</li>\n<li>Operate with a high level of professionalism, discretion, and personal accountability</li>\n<li>Demonstrate flexibility and responsiveness while managing responsibilities across multiple teams and schedules<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p>This role is limited to services within the scope of the Athletic Trainer’s certification and applicable Colorado licensure, and does not include any services beyond those permitted by law.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Measurable Goals </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate and respond to 100% of reported injuries within 24 hours, or immediately during practices and games.</li>\n<li>Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all injuries, treatments, and return-to-play clearances within 24 hours.</li>\n<li>Provide reliable athletic training coverage for at least 95% of assigned practices, games, and events.</li>\n<li>Implement 2-3 injury prevention or athlete education initiatives per season to support overall athlete health and safety.</li>\n<li>Communicate clearly and consistently with coaches, athletes, and families regarding injuries, care plans, and participation status.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Position Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Holds a current Athletic Trainer certification (BOC certified) and maintains all required Colorado licensure and credentials in good standing (required)</li>\n<li>Demonstrates a growing and active relationship with Jesus Christ, with a desire to model Christ-centered care and leadership</li>\n<li>Exhibits a servant-hearted mindset, prioritizing the health, safety, and well-being of student-athletes</li>\n<li>Previous experience as an athletic trainer in a high school, collegiate, or clinical setting preferred</li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of injury prevention, evaluation, treatment protocols, and rehabilitation practices</li>\n<li>Ability to respond effectively in emergency and high-pressure situations</li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with students, parents, coaches, and medical professionals</li>\n<li>Ability to build positive, Christ-centered relationships with student-athletes and the broader Forge community</li>\n<li>Communicates and demonstrates an attitude that is Friendly, Fast, Fluid, and Flexible</li>\n<li>Demonstrates professionalism, reliability, and strong organizational skills</li>\n<li>Ability to collaborate with the Athletic Team and align with the mission and vision of Forge</li>\n<li>Ability to manage schedule, priorities, and coverage needs across multiple sports and seasons<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif; font-weight: bold\">Staff Requirements:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Be present for all Staff meetings, unless sick or on vacation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Work \"All Staff Required\" events</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"color: rgb(0, 32, 96); font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Forge Vision Statement:                                                  Grace Church Mission Statement &amp; Motto:                      </span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Inter, sans-serif\">Find Jesus.
