As a part of our Housekeeping Department with the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel you will have the opportunity to create lasting memories for every Guest by ensuring that guest rooms are comfortable, inviting and clean. The luxury our Guests experience will ensure their return.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Housekeeping Department is now recruiting for the following opportunities:&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Room Attendant/ Housekeeper</li><li>Housekeeping Attendant&#xa0;</li></ul><p>Successful applicants will be matched to available positions based on previous relevant work experience.&#xa0;</p><p><strong>Note - preference will be given to those that our available for the full season (August - February).&#xa0;</strong></p><p><strong>Starting Rate:</strong>&#xa0;$20.00 per hour.</p><p>We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years.&#xa0;</p><p>Schedules for these positions may vary and can be assigned between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m.</p><p><strong>Room Attendant&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Clean and record all assigned guestrooms including: making beds, removing trash and dirty linen, retrieving clean linen, dusting, vacuuming, replenishing amenities, placing furniture to its original position, being attentive to the guests belongings by pairing shoes, folding clothes and ensure that all other personal belongings are cared for. Additional information as laid out in the sequence of service.</li><li>Clean the guest bathrooms which include: cleaning all surfaces (horizontal and vertical), all sinks, taps, vanities, tubs, showers and walls and toilets. Replenish amenities and additional information as laid out in the sequence of service.</li><li>Report all concerns related to Engineering/Maintenance, health and safety, security or suspicious circumstances (including smells/sights and sound)</li><li>Responsible for the assistance in maintaining a clean and organized backspace and housekeeping cart</li></ul><p><strong>Housekeeping Attendant&#xa0;</strong></p><ul><li>Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the backspaces. This will include but not limited to: sweeping, mopping, trash and recycling removal, stocking and organizing</li><li>Support Room Attendants by removing dirty linen from vacant guest rooms</li><li>Responsible for stocking linens and guest supplies in appropriate places and to appropriate par levels (this task supports and assists the Room Attendants)</li><li>Sorting dirty linen ready for export to laundry services</li><li>Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the guest corridors and public spaces. This will include but not limited to: vacuuming, dusting, polishing, damp dusting, elevator track cleaning, cleaning public washrooms, brass polishing and trash removal.</li><li>Responsible cleaning dirty glassware from guestrooms and restocking clean glassware in &#xa0;appropriate places and to appropriate par levels</li></ul>",
