&nbsp;Exempt</p></div><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><strong>GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:</strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>The Client Care Coordinator is responsible for improving access to mental health services in the shelter and for assisting families that are homeless with navigating multiple systems and coping with the stressors and anxiety induced by the homelessness.</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>The essential functions of the job include, but are not limited to the duties listed in the job description. &nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><strong>DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p><ol start=\"1\" style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\" type=\"1\"><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Completes a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment with each family to understand strengths and service needs.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Provide short-term counseling, crisis intervention, risk assessment, safety planning, and psychoeducation for families.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Collaborates with ACS and/or preventive services agency when a family is child welfare involved; participates in ACS conferences to advocate for the family.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Makes referrals and appropriate linkages.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Facilitates group work (e.g. with young people, with fathers).</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Communicates and collaborates with service providers to enhance engagement and ensure quality.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Provides education/training to other staff.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Facilitates quarterly family meetings (with the family and shelter staff) to discuss planning efforts and progress.</li></ol><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;margin-left:.5in;'>&nbsp;</p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><strong>Employee may be required to carry out additional duties as assigned by Supervisor.</strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul style=\"margin-bottom:0in;margin-top:0in;\" type=\"disc\"><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Master&rsquo;s Degree in Social Work from an accredited school of social work.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Licensure (LMSW) or within three months of hire.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Knowledge of child and adolescent development, emotional/behavioral health, mental health, parent-child relationships family dynamics, and diagnostic classification.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Strong expertise in strength-based, solution-focused, and family-centered practice.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Knowledge of guidelines, policies, and regulations relating to child welfare, safety, permanency, and well-being.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Knowledge and experience working with diverse cultures and ethnicities.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Knowledge and experience with workgroup.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>Exceptional written and oral communication skills.</li><li style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>First Aid/CPR certified</li></ul><p style='margin:0in;font-size:16px;font-family:\"Times New Roman\",serif;'>&nbsp;</p>\n    </div>\n  </div></div></div>\n",
