This position goes beyond day-to-day execution and plays a critical role as an educator, mentor, and strategic advisor to both internal teams and external clients.</span><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-directed leader with deep regulatory expertise who can mitigate risk, improve compliance accuracy, and provide trusted guidance to both operations and client stakeholders. <span>Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</span><br></span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">1. Canadian Adjustment Process Ownership</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Manage the end-to-end adjustment process under <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">CARM</span>, including Commercial Accounting Declaration (CAD) adjustments, mass adjustments, and voluntary disclosures</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure all CAD adjustments are prepared accurately and submitted within CBSA pre- and post-payment timelines</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct root cause analysis to identify error trends and implement corrective actions</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Provide training and guidance to internal teams to reduce recurring discrepancies</span><br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">2. Client Consulting, Education &amp; Engagement</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Act as the senior compliance <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Subject Matter Expert (SME)</span> for complex Canadian customs inquiries</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Serve as the primary compliance point of contact for client consultations</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Lead client meetings and deliver presentations on specialized compliance topics such as tariff classification, customs valuation, rules of origin, and CARM</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Contribute to Canadian compliance educational content, including regulatory updates and client-facing webinars</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Represent JORI and support clients during CBSA compliance verifications and audits</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt\">3.
