This role offers opportunities to lead projects, mentor team members, and play a key role in operational success.<br><br><strong>Position Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Oversee elevator operations and maintain grain quality standards</li><li>Identify and implement improvements in efficiency, safety, and reliability</li><li>Conduct safety and housekeeping audits; address hazards promptly</li><li>Ensure environmental compliance and manage rail tracks/unloading operations</li><li>Lead projects focused on energy reduction, cost savings, and operational reliability</li><li>Provide leadership, mentoring, and training for team development</li><li>Collaborate with commercial and plant teams to support overall operations</li><li>Model and enforce all safety practices</li></ul><br><strong>Position Requirements:</strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree is preferred</li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent required</li><li>2-3 years of grain handling experience</li><li>Experience leading plant safety programs and hazard analysis.</li><li>Ability to plan, organize, and manage people, schedules, and resources.</li><li>Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Proven leadership and interpersonal skills to motivate and train teams.</li><li>Skilled in conflict resolution and fair, direct coaching.</li><li>Problem-solving and organizational skills with a focus on continuous improvement.</li><li>Working knowledge of Maximo and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, Access, SharePoint).</li></ul><br><strong>Position Physical Requirements:</strong><br>The physical requirements of the job requires ability to climb stairs, prolonged periods of standing and sitting, computer work, meeting deadlines, providing calculated information, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, working adjusted hours, and working as instructed.
