Note pads and writing utensils, glossaries, and dictionaries are useful tools.<br><br><strong>Candidate Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Fluency in English and Spanish</li><li>Minimum 2 years interpretation experience preferred but not required.</li><li>Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy.</li><li>Render correct concepts and meanings according to the conventions of established interpretation protocol, avoiding omissions or additions.</li><li>Ability to explain certain cultural concepts to avoid miscommunication with permission or at the request of the client.</li></ul><p><br><strong>Technical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Computer or Laptop</li><li>Windows 10 or higher</li><li>USB Wired headset</li><li>Steady wired internet connection</li></ul><p><br><strong>Additional information:</strong></p><ul><li>Full time/Part time shifts available</li><li>Remote position, interpreter works from his/her home office</li><li>Ongoing training and competency opportunities</li><li>Monthly payments</li><li>Per minute rate</li><li>**Based on your location, language testing, background check and/or drug screen may be required*</li></ul>",
