Berkley Corporation (NYSE: WRB).</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p>Berkley Select is evolving its operating model to support continued growth, increased underwriting complexity, and expanded use of data, automation, and AI-enabled capabilities.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>The Operations Analyst II supports this evolution by analyzing, enhancing, and helping implement operational processes that are efficient, well-controlled, and scalable. </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p>This role contributes to process improvement efforts, supports data-driven decision-making, and helps ensure that operational enhancements are effectively adopted within day-to-day operations.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Operations & Process Improvement</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies, manual steps, and potential risks.</li>\n <li>Support the design and implementation of process improvements aligned to underwriting and service needs.</li>\n <li>Maintain process documentation, including workflows, procedures, and control frameworks.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Analytics, Automation & AI Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Partner with Technology and Business teams to support implementation of automation and AI-enabled solutions (e.g., workflow tools, document processing).</li>\n <li>Assist in evaluating operational readiness and control considerations for new tools and processes.</li>\n <li>Use data analysis to identify trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Performance Monitoring & Reporting</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Develop and maintain operational reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as throughput, quality, and service levels.</li>\n <li>Summarize data insights and provide actionable recommendations to support decision-making.</li>\n <li>Assist with forecasting and capacity planning efforts.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Risk, Controls & Compliance</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Support the execution of processes with appropriate controls to meet internal risk and audit standards.</li>\n <li>Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Audit teams to assist with control testing, issue tracking, and documentation.</li>\n <li>Identify and escalate operational risks related to process or system changes.</li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Stakeholder Partnership & Change Support</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Collaborate with Operations, Underwriting, Technology, Risk, and Finance teams on process improvement initiatives.</li>\n <li>Support change management efforts, including development of training materials and job aids.</li>\n <li>Participate in pilots, implementations, and post-implementation reviews.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Future Skills – AI & Advanced Capabilities</strong></p>\n<p>Berkley Select is committed to leveraging emerging technologies to enhance operational effectiveness. The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees which for this role includes: Base Salary Range: $76,000 - 78,000. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary bonus program.
