    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is looking for a Cardiac Sonographer to join our Imaging team!</span></p>\n<p>Perform daily clinical adult and pediatric cardiac ultrasound diagnostic procedures (echocardiography), assessing basic and advanced cardiac anatomy and pathophysiology, creating preliminary reports for interpretation by cardiologist.</p>\n<p>   <br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Major Job Duties &amp; Responsibilities</span></p>\n<p>Performs routine two-dimensional echo, stress echo, pharmacological stress echo, contrast enhanced stress echo, and emergent echo procedures in accordance with standard practice, requiring the ability to learn and understand required advanced echo techniques such as strain imaging.   </p>\n<p>Operates equipment necessary to perform all required procedures. Maintains equipment in working order. Performs routine cleaning, preventive maintenance, and report any equipment malfunction to the vendor or Imaging Manager.  </p>\n<p>Evaluates patient's electronic medical record and order to obtain patient history, reason for exam, and any necessary information to perform study.   </p>\n<p>Prepares preliminary reports for review and interpretation by cardiologist including comparison of previous studies.   </p>\n<p>Participates in professional education, meetings, and quality improvement projects.   </p>\n<p>Completes documentation of all information required for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving and retrieval of exams.   </p>\n<p>Obtain and interpret patient history, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and understanding throughout the exam.   </p>\n<p>Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.   </p>\n<p>Stay current with the latest advancements in echocardiography technology and protocols.  </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Skills, Knowledge, &amp; Abilities</span></p>\n<p><span>Strong Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and hemodynamics.</span></p>\n<p><span>American Heart Association ACLS   </span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Physical or Environmental Conditions:</span></p>\n<p>Must possess advanced application of manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination to perform high volume keyboard input and operation of manually controlled equipment.  Visual and auditory acuity is required to ensure that work is done correctly.  This position requires the use of personal protective equipment during various tasks and activities.  Personal protective equipment includes but is not limited to gloves, masks, safety glasses and gowns. </p>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Education Requirements</span></p>\n<p>Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Sonography</p>\n<p>ARDMS in Adult Echocardiography    <br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Experience</span></p>\n<p>Required minimum 2 year experience in adult echocardiography.    </p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Schedule</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px\">Per needs of the department.</span><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 15px; font-weight: bold\">Benefits Package Available.</span></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-size: 13px\">Cabinet Peaks Medical Center is committed to providing a safe, efficient, and productive work environment for all employees.
