    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Lead Test Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and implementing cost-effective test methods and troubleshooting for complex hardware/software systems across all product development and manufacturing phases. Acts as a cross-functional technical expert and team lead, owning test strategies, fixtures, equipment, and protocols for new and existing diagnostic products.</p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities (Shortened):</p>\n<p>Lead design, development, and implementation of test hardware, software, fixtures, and equipment; define requirements, specifications, and procedures.</p>\n<p>Develop deep product and clinical-use understanding; promote product and test knowledge across the organization.</p>\n<p>Analyze complex issues, identify root causes, prioritize and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and improve test efficiency.</p>\n<p>Review system-level requirements (HRS, SRS, safety, functional, third-party) and ensure full coverage in system-level testing.</p>\n<p>Create and execute test plans, test requirements, test specifications, and test equipment UI requirements for new product introduction.</p>\n<p>Provide technical leadership: coordinate and lead test activities, support personnel, and drive high product quality and continuous improvement.</p>\n<p>Communicate progress, schedules, risks, budgets, and resource needs to stakeholders.</p>\n<p>Partner with Product Management and domain experts to influence product design, quality, and testability; identify product improvements.</p>\n<p>Build and maintain strong relationships with Design Assurance, Regulatory, Clinical, and other key functions; lead cross-functional test-related initiatives.</p>\n<p>Identify and drive adoption of best practices and new technologies in software, hardware, and systems testing.</p>\n<p>Mentor and guide peers to support learning, development, and knowledge transfer.</p>\n<p>So why join Hologic?</p>\n<p>We are committed to making Hologic the company where top talent comes to grow. We offer a competitive salary and annual bonus scheme, one of our talent partners can discuss this in more detail with you.</p>\n<p>The annualized base salary range for this role is $119,300 - $186,600 and is bonus eligible.
