          "text": "<p><strong>Scope of Position:</strong></p><p>Perform Pricing Analyst duties for Ground and Domestic freight with Vision, leadership, energy, professionalism and support, in conjunction with the Transcon manager.</p><p>Maintain adherence to Expeditors’ policies and procedures while displaying and communicating Expeditors’ goals and culture.</p><p><strong>Major Duties and Responsibilities:&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; </strong></p><p><strong>RFQ Coordination</strong></p><ul><li>Communicate with sales and build strategy.</li><li>Perform data analysis.</li><li>Identify opportunities and challenges</li><li>Manage the product pricing for RFQs (Request for Quotes).</li><li>Manage and meet deadlines set by customers and sales/geo on responding to pricing&#xa0;&#xa0;&#xa0; requests.</li><li>Work with pricing manger / sales/geo staff to properly qualify bids.</li><li>Track and report the results of RFQs.</li></ul><p><strong>RFQ Execution</strong></p><ul><li>Convert customer formats.</li><li>Insert / integrate targeted pricing.</li><li>Communicate to the field.</li><li>Manage responses.</li><li>Audit responses and make cohesive.</li><li>Maintain communication per Document Retention Policy (DRP).</li><li>Update RFQ capture in a timely manner.</li><li>Maintain RFQ/Pricing tools.</li></ul><p><strong>Analysis of Rates</strong></p><ul><li>Review and analyze carrier rates.</li><li>Review feedback from sales/geo on rate competitiveness.</li><li>Report results of analysis to Transcon Manager.</li><li>Work with carriers to keep rates fresh and competitive.</li></ul><p><strong>Rate &amp; Surcharge Maintenance</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain rate databases.</li><li>Maintain and distribute General Rate Increase (GRI) and surcharge information.</li><li>Maintain diary system to flag expiring rate agreements and contracts.</li></ul><p><strong>General Support</strong></p><ul><li>Provide general support for sales and product pricing.</li><li>Provide other general pricing support as specified by Transcon Manager.</li></ul>",
