    "description": "<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt; font-weight: bold\">Utility Construction Intern</span></p>\n<p><a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"></a>MTech Construction is currently seeking interns to join our utility constriction team for the summer. This paid internship position offers an excellent opportunity for hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, specifically in the installation of fiber optics. Interns will work closely with our utility construction professionals to support various aspects of fiber installation projects.</p>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS</span></p>\n<p>Some of your duties may include:<br></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist in installing, maintaining and repairing underground fiber optic networks</li>\n<li>Operate and maintain construction equipment and hand tools</li>\n<li>Help prepare and clean up construction sites</li>\n<li>Assist in inspecting and testing installed fiber to ensure efficient project execution</li>\n<li>Work effectively with managers, co-workers, and other stakeholders to achieve project goals</li>\n<li>Learn and develop skills in utility construction</li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p>You’ll also need to be able to:</p>\n<ul>\n<li>Continuously communicate with co-workers and customers</li>\n<li>Frequently lift and operate heavy tools and equipment, work in various weather conditions, and perform physically demanding tasks</li>\n<li>Continuously see, hear, and listen <a target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"></a></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE </span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing a high school diploma or technical degree in utility construction or related field</li>\n<li>Basic experience with equipment and hand tools desired</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: bold\">SCHEDULE</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time capacity during summertime</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p>MTech Construction is an Equal Opportunity Employer of minorities, females, protected veterans, and individuals with disabilities.
