We need additional team members that share our mission of exceptional patient care and friendly customer service.&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>General Statement of Duties:</strong></p>\r\n\r\n<p>An employee in this class functions as an EMT performing lifesaving procedures, care and defensive driving in the delivery of EMS through the response of transport of patients for First Call Ambulance.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>Reporting Relationship:&nbsp;</strong>Reports directly to the Field/Shift Supervisors, General Manager, and/or Regional ALS Manager/Coordinator.<br />\r\nResponsibilities: Below is partial list of duties to establish an understanding of the basic responsibilities of this job and is not intended to be a full and complete representation of all duties that this job may require.</p>\r\n\r\n<p><br />\r\n&bull; Currently hold and maintain State License for State of Employment.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Performs as an EMT within the scope of practice set forth by the Medical Director and State EMS Agency</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Drives an emergency or non-emergency vehicle in the appropriate mode using defensive driving training techniques, if so trained and licensed to do so.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Abides by the policies, procedures, and protocols of the company.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Appearance, conduct, and attitude reflects a professional image in a caring manner at all times.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Works cooperatively with other employees, health care personnel, patients, family members, etc.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Completes required paperwork and documents appropriately and completely.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Refrains from smoking in company vehicles, buildings, and refrains from smoking in other buildings and vehicles owned by others while representing the company.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Reports accidents, problems, incidents, failed equipment or vehicles, worker&rsquo;s compensation injuries, etc. to the company as soon as possible.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Completes required training and education to keep certifications and requirements for this job class current. This includes In-Services that are assigned on CareerCert or TraumaSoft.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Attends in-services, run report reviews and other quality assurance activities.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Participates in public relation activities as it pertains to the company or EMS.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Completes inventory of vehicles and equipment as requested.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Completes special tasks that pertain to the operation of the company or its improvements.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Ensures that First Call Ambulance is meeting and/or exceeding all local, state and federal requirements.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Provides written reports to supervisor and/or management staff as necessary or required.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Promotes First Call Ambulance marketing strategies consistent with the marketing plan in all aspects personal and professional.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Works closely with all employees, supervisors, managers, and other departments to enhance First Call Ambulance strategies.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Attends all required and mandatory training sessions, seminars, and workshops to enhance personal knowledge in all aspects of First Call Ambulance lines of business.<br />\r\n&bull; Maintains First Call Ambulance core values and stays focused on our mission in the community.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&bull; Always displays conduct becoming of a First Call Ambulance staff member. &bull; Performs other functions other functions as necessary and/or required by First Call Ambulance management.</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;</p>\r\n",
