Description

Position Specifics: Reports To: Service Manager Supervises: None FLSA Code: Nonexempt Application for All Locations: While the application is listed as Assumption, this is for all 26 locations. There is a question in the application that asks you to select a store location. Purpose: Students are/will be enrolled in a Diesel Technician Program at a local college. Students attend and participate in hands-on classes at school while completing paid internships at their sponsoring store. Schools We have Sponsored Students Through: Southwest Tech Rend Lake College Lincoln Land Community College Spoon River College Illinois Central College Parkland College Lake Land College MATC Wabash Valley College Responsibilities/Requirements: Learns to performs basic diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on diesel equipment through hand-on classes throughout program and paid internships at their sponsoring store Actively participates and attends all classes during entire program Regularly attends and works the required hours during internships Must maintain a good driving record in compliance with company Motor Vehicle Records criteria throughout employment Student Perks: ***Full-Time Employment Offer from Sponsoring Store **Tuition Reimbursement Paid Internships Tool Program Company Provided Uniforms Paid Time Off 401K Plan with Company Match *** Indicates to be acquired after a successful college graduation.
