Job board applications are not always compatible with company applicant tracking systems.**</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Overview</strong></p>\n<p>Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for a Facility Engineer, supporting TOS II, at Tunnel 9 in White Oak, Maryland. The Facility Engineer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating, maintaining, and improving the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong><em>Open to internal and external candidates.</em></strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary</strong></p>\n<p>The Facility Engineer will manage the buildings, utilities and property that support the wind-tunnel testing mission at Tunnel 9. The candidate will take ownership of major facility systems, coordinate with the government property-owner, manage facility and equipment improvement projects throughout their project lifecycle (planning, budgeting, schedule, execution). Additionally, this role is responsible for recommending and forecasting future infrastructure upgrades.</p>\n<p><u>              </u></p>\n<p><strong>Job Duties:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Direct daily activities of the contractor responsible for building maintenance, repair, and service-provider coordination.</li>\n <li>Work with contractors to propose innovative and economic solutions to building legacy problems and lead implementation. </li>\n <li>Assure the reliable operation of facilities to provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees.</li>\n <li>Maintain the existing or develop and implement new facility management programs including preventative maintenance and life-cycle requirements.</li>\n <li>Use best business practices to manage resources, services and processes.</li>\n <li>Plan, budget, and execute facility refurbishments and renovations.</li>\n <li>Provide prompt response/solutions to technical issues identified by facility occupants.</li>\n <li>Ensure projects comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations. </li>\n <li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including systems engineers, electrical engineers, aerospace engineers, and operations personnel, to ensure successful project and test outcomes. </li>\n <li>Assist other project managers, principals, or officers in the management of extremely large, multidiscipline projects.</li>\n <li>It is a condition of employment to wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) in accordance with supervisory direction and company policy. </li>\n <li>Perform other duties as required. </li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university with ten (10) to twenty (20) years of progressive, relevant experience in an engineering or technical field. In lieu of a degree, sixteen (16) to twenty-one (21) years of progressive, relevant experience is required. Relevant advanced education or specialized experience may be substituted for a portion of the total experience requirements.</li>\n <li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance and access the AEDC local area network.</li>\n <li>Current U. S.
