Assist and coordinate with the General Manager and Operations to deliver safe, focused efficient, and profitable construction projects.&nbsp; Supports a business culture that values safe and efficient production.&nbsp; Maintains up-to-date knowledge of best practices and products in the construction industry.&nbsp;</div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Benefits</strong></div><div><div><ul><li>Competitive benefits package including Medical, Dental, Prescription, 401(K) with 3% Employer Contribution, Long- and Short-term Disability</li><li>Tuition Reimbursement for qualified skilled trade programs</li><li>Student Loan Repayment Program</li><li>Employee Referral Program</li></ul></div></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Responsibilities</strong></div><div>The Estimator will:</div><div><ul><li>Evaluate and bid projects with accuracy, completeness, and profitability</li><li>Coordinate project scheduling with project construction manager</li><li>Utilize pricing parameters on trucking and equipment rates, and materials</li><li>Measure and adjust processes to meet customer commitments</li><li>Review job cost reports daily and reconciles projects monthly</li><li>Monitor systems and projects against KPIs to take advantage of incentives and avoid penalties&nbsp;</li><li>Represent the company in meetings with customers&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Maintain relevant knowledge of the industry, products, and sales territory</li><li>Identify methods for expanding customer accounts</li><li>Identify and follow up on potential business leads</li><li>Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards&nbsp;</li><li>Cultivate and maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers&nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Cultivate and maintain good working relationships with fellow estimators and managers&nbsp;</li><li>Regularly travel to job sites to support communication and gain understanding&nbsp;</li><li>Evaluate, analyze, and assist in the resolution of field problems</li><li>Review payables related to projects and approve checks weekly</li><li>Presents safety talks to crew members and participates in risk assessments</li><li>Perform other projects and duties assigned by the manager</li></ul></div><div><strong>Skills</strong></div><div>The ideal candidate will have:</div><div><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in constructions or related discipline is preferred</li><li>Knowledge of product and industry including mix designs, pricing, quality issues delivery procedures and plant operations</li><li>Excellent customer service skills</li><li>Knowledge of contract negotiations</li><li>Excellent math skills and acumen for estimating sophisticated projects</li><li>Ability to sit, stand, walk, for extended periods, lift 50lbs, and climb</li><li>Ability to tolerate noise and temperature variations&nbsp;</li><li>Valid Driver’s License and the ability to safely drive a company vehicle</li></ul></div><div><br>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>To Apply:</strong></div><div><p>Please submit your resume.
