    "requisitionDescription": "<div><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\">The PT (21 hr/week) Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) provides nutrition education and counseling to our clients, their families, and caregivers to address individual needs based on unique diagnoses. The RDN also provides outreach to hard-to-reach and under-served communities through nutrition workshops, and education materials, and works with our Culinary and Program Teams to ensure quality services. <strong>This is a temporary opportunity expected through March 2028</strong>.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>Position Objectives and Expectations</u></strong></p><ul type=\"disc\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Assess nutritional status and develop comprehensive nutrition care plans for clients with a range of severe illnesses including HIV, cancer, and diabetes.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Provide on-going nutrition counseling and education to clients and caregivers affected by life-altering illnesses.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Plan and track dietary modifications to relieve specific nutrition-related symptoms associated with illnesses, prescription drugs, and food intake requirements and restrictions.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding client care.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Help guide interns in learning how to support clients living with severe illness.</li></ul><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong><u>About You&nbsp;</u></strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">You are highly self-motivated and empathetic, with a strong desire to provide support to clients living with a serious illness. You are looking for a collaborative, team-oriented environment, and you are energized by providing nutrition education to clients with varied medical conditions.&nbsp;</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">In addition, you meet the following requirements:</p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">MS in Nutrition Science with an emphasis on community nutrition, public health and/or nutrition education.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) - maintenance of current registration required.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">A minimum of three to five years&rsquo; related experience in the field of nutrition or dietetics.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience supporting clients throughout the lifecycle.&nbsp;</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Language Skills &ndash; Bilingual English/Spanish a plus</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Superior attention to detail.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to operate effectively as part of a team and independently.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Strong written and verbal communication skills.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li></ul></div></div>\n",
