    "ExternalDescriptionStr": "<p>Hoffman Construction is seeking a Safety Administrator. This individual will be an integral member of the on-site Safety Department, providing essential support throughout the lifecycle of a hyper-scaled data center construction project. Reporting to the Project Safety Manager, the role will work closely with site leadership and cross-functional teams to support day-to-day site activities, construction models and related content for use by the project Safety Team and other stakeholders. The Safety Administrator plays a critical support role,&nbsp;supporting the written safety programs, procedures, and requirements of the safety department, as well as the project teams depending on the support from this role to ensure that safety policies, procedures, and practices are adhered by&nbsp;in a complex mission-critical environment. <strong>This position will be fully at the project site near Amarillo, Texas.&nbsp;</strong></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Salary range: </strong>$50,000 - $80,000 +12% geo-uplift and additional compensation for temporary relocation of $4000+/month</p><p><strong>Essential Responsibilities:</strong></p><p>Responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:&nbsp;</p><ul><li>Establish and maintaining department records and files from the safety department and project team members.</li><li>Monitor, edit and update project safety documents, recording meetings, filing, mailing, and distributing safety correspondence.&nbsp;</li><li>Communicate progress, constraints, and all other status to the Project Safety Manager.&nbsp;</li><li>Respond and coordinate trainings meet Safety Department standards of Hoffman Construction and the project.</li><li>Ensure strict adherence to project-specific safety protocols.</li><li>Ensure OSHA 300 logs are managed and updated accordingly.&nbsp;</li><li>Provide clear communication, verbally, written, and electronically.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><p>We are looking for a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines.&nbsp; The successful candidate will possess:</p><p>Professional Experience and Education</p><ul><li>A Minimum&nbsp;of three (3) years’ administrative support experience is required.&nbsp;</li><li>High School diploma or GED required.</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Position Related Skills</p><ul><li>A strong commitment to safety compliance with OSHA standards and site-specific requirements.</li><li>Ability to work closely with trade and craft people in a field work situation.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Patience and professionalism are essential to being able to maintain a cooperative attitude through pressure situations.</li><li>Ability to manage several work activities at once while frequently interrupted by phone calls and urgent questions on work in progress.</li><li>Advanced visual observation and interpretation skills.</li><li>Must be a dedicated team player, self-starter, flexible and able to work well with a variety of personalities and minimal instruction.&nbsp; Ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations is required.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and possess excellent collaboration with team members.&nbsp;</li><li>Must be able to exercise good judgement, show initiative, be proactive, and take ownership of issues to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard of quality and accuracy.&nbsp;</li><li>Demonstrate assertiveness, self-starter with the skills to research and complete tasks with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.&nbsp;</li><li>General construction knowledge and ability to understand construction terminology and process preferred.&nbsp;</li><li>Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Teams, and DocuSign.&nbsp;</li></ul><p>&nbsp;</p><p><strong>Physical and Mental Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is a combination of being stationary and moving about the work location.</li><li>Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites.</li><li>Must be able to climb stairs, to ascend and descend ladders, scaffold, inspect confined or underground spaces.</li><li>Hands/Arms: Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;</li><li>Sigh: Specific vision abilities required include close vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus in an outdoor environment. Must be able to safely operate a vehicle with a valid driver’s license. The work is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, reading print and digital documents.</li><li>Hearing: Must be able to work in proximity to loud equipment mor than 75% of the time. Must be able to wear hearing protection, as necessary.&nbsp; Often required to communicate with customers and co-workers in an office setting and on the job site.</li><li>Speech: Ability to communicate laws, ordinances, plans, regulations, protocols, directives, and standard operating procedures related to project scope in English.</li><li>Lift/Carry: Must have the ability to lift or manipulate fifty pounds to a height of three feet and carry or push it 50-100 feet.</li><li>Bending/Twisting: Frequent.</li><li>Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Must be able to regularly position self in a kneeling, crouching or crawling position for purpose of examining project work.</li><li>Must be able to physically access all areas and levels of construction site for work progress review.</li><li>Work schedule must be flexible to allow for extended hours or off-shift work to accommodate changing construction schedule and sequences.</li><li>Must use independent judgment, organizational and critical thinking skills to determine best method to accomplish desired results.</li></ul>",
