Assembly Supervisor - 1st Shift (8:00am to 5:00pm) Overview US Conec is seeking a hands-on Assembly Supervisor to lead production operations on our 1st Shift team. In this role, you will: Oversee daily workflow and guide production employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency across the department Coach team members, enforce policies, and collaborate cross-functionally to meet customer deadlines Play a key role in process improvement, documentation, and team development Responsibilities Plan and assign work based on the production tracker and shipping schedule Monitor workflow and adjust personnel assignments to meet changing priorities Coach, counsel, and discipline employees while enforcing company policies and procedures Review and approve Manufacturing Process Instructions (MPIs) for accuracy and compliance Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality Track and report on cost reduction strategies and operational metrics Coordinate with other departments to meet customer order deadlines Maintain and approve time and production records; supervise Paylocity time entries Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations across the team Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency Support training and development of team members and lead substitutes Ensure proper documentation of maintenance and process improvements Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate with maintenance personnel Oversee tool serialization and inventory tracking Participate in fixture testing and approval processes with Quality and Engineering teams Must Haves High school diploma or GED required Associate degree or 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Proven ability to supervise and guide 50–100 production employees Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and timekeeping systems Clear communication skills for cross-functional collaboration Commitment to safety, documentation accuracy, and continuous improvement What We Offer Competitive compensation with shift-based incentives Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans Paid time off and holidays to support work-life balance 401(k) retirement savings plan with employer match A collaborative, team-based culture focused on growth and development Opportunities for leadership training and advancement Inclusive workplace with reasonable accommodations for qualified individuals US Conec will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States.
