These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\" data-pasted=\"true\"><strong>Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Perform installation, maintenance, modification, refurbishment, cleaning, troubleshooting, repair, adjustment, calibration, verification, certification, checkout, and operation of various fixed or mobile systems to include, but are not limited to: mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic, water, HVAC, pneumatic, and lubrication systems. Operate fixed or mobile equipment and systems used to receive, store, treat, transfer and deliver various liquids, gases and solid commodities, hazardous waste materials or other contaminated liquids.</p><p style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><strong>Qualifications&nbsp;</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Bachelor of Science (BS) in Engineering or technical equivalent from an accredited institution; at least four years of experience. Depending on the candidate&rsquo;s experience, requirements, and business needs, we reserve the right to consider candidates at any level for which this position has been advertised.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with the operation and maintenance of electrical and grounding in facility systems.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Experience with operation and maintenance of low voltage (&lt;600 volts) electrical sub-stations and components.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC&#39;s) and software development is a plus.</li></ul></div><p><strong>&nbsp;</strong><strong>Physical Requirements</strong></p><p><br></p><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Physical requirements include sitting, walking, standing, extensive use of stairs, and access to remote structures.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Will be required to wear hearing protection, eye protection and other associated personal protective equipment.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position is located on a hazardous testing facility; must be able to quickly evacuate buildings in the event of an emergency.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to climb ladders, towers, and stairs to work at heights (&gt;300 feet) using protective equipment</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">May require physical exertion in climbing, lifting, squatting, crawling, carrying, or work in cramped quarters.</li></ul><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Will be required to work inside and outside throughout the test complex.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position may require individual to travel to different areas on site.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Walking on uneven terrain including paved areas, gravel/rocks, and dirt/sand is required to access various locations on the facility.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">All work must be completed in a safe manner in accordance with NASA and Company safety standards.</li></ul></div><p><strong>Equipment and Machines</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Computers and printers used for producing reports and schedules.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Variety of equipment used in testing.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must possess or can obtain a Class D motor vehicle license.</li></ul></div><p><strong>Attendance</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Position may require occasional overtime including weekend work depending on task.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be dependable and punctual.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Shift work may be required.</li></ul></div><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><div style=\"margin-left:0in;\"><ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;margin-left: 0in;\"><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to accurately communicate ideas in writing and verbal communication.</li><li style=\"margin-left:0in;\">Must be able to travel to support position requirements.
