    "description": "<h2>Overview</h2>\n<p>The Pictsweet Company in Monte Alto, Texas is looking for general labors to join our team. New team members will works as a crew member preparing raw vegetables for processing.</p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Inspects, grades and sorts raw vegetables for preparing, processing, and freezing.</li>\n <li> Examines, classifies and separates produce on conveyor belt according to grade, color, and size of product.</li>\n <li> Discards cull (inferior or defective) items and foreign material such as metal, glass, wood, plastic,</li>\n <li>stems, leaves, insects, etc.</li>\n <li>Must notify superintendent, supervisor or QC Inspector <strong>immediately</strong> upon finding glass, rocks or animals (i.e. bird, rodent, amphibian, etc.)</li>\n <li>May trim product with a knife or paring tool.</li>\n <li>Maintains work area clean.</li>\n <li>Will don personal protective equipment (PPE) before commencing work.</li>\n <li>Follows all safety guidelines set forth by the Company.</li>\n <li>May form or erect cases.</li>\n <li>Manually closes case (folds flaps).</li>\n <li>Seals case by running case thru tape machine.</li>\n <li>Stamps date code on packed cases.</li>\n <li>Manually stacks twelve (12) three-pound, twenty (20) and thirty (30) pound cases of product onto pallets in the tie and height pattern assigned that item.</li>\n <li> <strong>Performs other duties as assigned.</strong></li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>LANGUAGE SKILLS:</strong> Ability to read or interpret documents such as safety rules/signs, operating and maintenance instructions and procedures preferred, but not required.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>REASONING ABILITY:</strong> Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>OTHER:</strong></p>\n<li>Ability to work a 7-day week; including holidays.</li>\n<li>Ability to work a rotating shift if necessary.</li>\n<li>Must have reliable transportation.</li>\n<p> </p>",
