You'll provide leadership, guidance, and expertise to all staff members as well as effectively communicating departmental activities to the team. The Clinical lead is responsible for establishing a high-performance team that is efficient, knowledgeable, service-oriented, and shares responsibility for attaining the goals of the practice.<strong> The Clinical Lead should have at least 1-2 year's experience in healthcare management along with Ophthalmology or Optometric management experience preferred. Some regional travel required.</strong></p>\n<p> </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Do:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Manages daily clinical operations by reviewing patient, physician, and technician schedules, assigning clinical space usage by a physician, monitors clinic flow and interfacing with facility staff.</li>\n <li>Enhances and improves patient experience investigating patient complaints, draws conclusions, and contacts patients for satisfaction resolutions.</li>\n <li>Provides training and guidance to clinical staff; oversees performance reviews and monitors daily routine of technical staff; trains new technical staff. </li>\n <li>Reviews reports to determine clinic needs and verifies clinic workflows; identifies areas of waste and opportunities for efficiency.</li>\n <li>Oversees clinical equipment maintenance by coordinating a maintenance program with clinical staff for timely repairs and proper functioning.</li>\n <li>Manages day-to-day operations of the practice and supervises physicians and staff following company policies and procedures.</li>\n <li>Ensures the highest degree of customer service and patient quality care is maintained at all times.</li>\n <li>Ensures compliance with standard medical practice to manage and minimize risk.</li>\n <li>Resolves any medical-administrative problems and keeps lines of communication open with staff to ensure high employee morale and a professional, healthful clinic atmosphere.</li>\n <li>Maintains professional affiliations and enhances professional development to keep current in the latest health care trends and developments.</li>\n <li>Develops and maintains rapport and positive relationships with providers.</li>\n <li>Meets operational goals set by management.</li>\n <li>Hours-Monday-Friday </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>What You Will Bring:</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Knowledge of health care and medical procedures.</li>\n <li>Knowledge of ophthalmic terminology and procedures.</li>\n <li>Interpersonal/human relations skills.</li>\n <li>Attentiveness to details</li>\n <li>Ability to initiate, prioritize, and follow through on tasks and projects.</li>\n <li>Ability to respond to questions in a tactful and professional manner.</li>\n <li>Ability to use an electronic health record application.</li>\n <li>Ability to use a personal computer with various software programs.</li>\n <li>Ability to maintain confidentiality.</li>\n <li>Perform under the stress of frequent interruptions and/or distractions.</li>\n <li>Verbal skills sufficient to promote pleasant and effective interactions with patients, staff, doctors, and the public. </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Proven experience with effective hiring and motivating and managing a team.</li>\n <li>Strong staff relations skills.</li>\n <li>Preferred Qualifications: Certified Ophthalmic Technician licensure or another medical licensure preferred.</li>\n <li>Must have the ability to concentrate and pay close attention to detail when receiving instructions from physicians or others, reading and interpreting procedures and related materials; examining and closely inspecting materials when using equipment; and working one-on-one with patients.</li>\n <li>Leadership qualities, diplomacy, discretion, ability to enforce difficult positions, excellent communication, public speaking skills, and exceptional interpersonal abilities.</li>\n <li>Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.</li>\n <li>Proficient with Microsoft Suite; in particular Excel.</li>\n</ul>\n<p> </p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>What we offer:</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive compensation package</li>\n <li>Excellent comprehensive benefits</li>\n <li>401(K)</li>\n <li>Significant eye care discounts</li>\n <li>Continuing education allowances</li>\n <li>Career growth and development</li>\n <li>PTO and holidays off</li>\n</ul>\n<p>We are an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. </p>\n<p> </p>",
