Compensation: Competitive salary plus a bonus opportunity Full benefits package including Medical, Dental, and 401k profit sharing Responsibilities In this job you will: Directly manage 25 – 45 hourly employees Lead multiple production departments on the 1st Shift Responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity of your departments Maintain budget for labor efficiencies in your department Champion continuous improvement in the department (Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving) Reward and follow corrective action guidelines as needed with employees Interview, hire, train, coach, and develop employees Qualifications The ideal Production Department Manager will meet the following qualifications : Associate’s/Bachelor’s degree and/or 2-5 years of relevant experience Team player with demonstrated servant leadership skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Passion and the ability to motivate and lead others Strong organizational and time management skills Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement is preferred Experience with operating systems, Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, Oracle, SAP, WMS Bi-Lingual capacity is not required for the role, but is preferred Our Story: Pella Corporation is proud to design and manufacture high-quality windows and doors that enrich the lives of our customers.
