Together, we are making a difference, one life at a time.</p>\n<p> </p>\n<p><strong>Your Mission in Action</strong></p>\n<p>The Housekeeper is responsible for carrying out cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the facility to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for both children and staff. The primary goal is to uphold a welcoming and well-maintained atmosphere for children, families, and staff alike. </p>\n<h2>Responsibilities</h2>\n<ul>\n <li>Perform general housekeeping duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, emptying trash receptacles, polishing furniture/fixtures, etc. </li>\n <li>Clean and sanitize common areas, restrooms, windows, walls, carpets, etc. </li>\n <li>Spot clean and maintain resident and common areas as needed </li>\n <li>Clean and store all equipment and supplies </li>\n <li>Provide general cleaning chemicals, supplies, and equipment as needed </li>\n <li>Ensure the environment is free of hazardous chemicals/products and kept safe for residents and staff </li>\n <li>Perform all cleaning duties using the proper supplies, equipment, and chemicals </li>\n <li>Report all accidents and incidents to Facilities Manager in a timely manner </li>\n <li>Notify Facilities Manager regarding the need for major facility/building issues </li>\n <li>Other duties and projects as assigned  </li>\n</ul>\n<h2>Qualifications</h2>\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Must be at least 21 years of age </li>\n <li>Six (6) months of housekeeping or janitorial experience </li>\n <li>Ability to prioritize and complete assigned tasks and unplanned requests during shift  </li>\n <li>Good time management and organizational skills with the ability to complete multiple tasks </li>\n <li>Strong people and interpersonal skills with the ability to work diverse groups of people  </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>Bilingual in English and Spanish (based on service populations and area) </li>\n <li>One (1) year housekeeping or janitorial experience </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Travel</strong></p>\n<ul>\n <li>This position may be required to travel up to 0% </li>\n</ul>\n<p><strong>Perks at Upbring</strong> </p>\n<ul>\n <li>Competitive PTO & paid holidays </li>\n <li>Health, dental, vision insurance & more  </li>\n <li>403(b) Plan</li>\n <li>Employee Assistance Program </li>\n <li>Discounted Gym Memberships  </li>\n</ul>\n<strong>Physical Demands & Work Conditions</strong>\n<ul>\n <li>Position works in a child facility and has constant exposure to children </li>\n <li>Position requires frequent standing, walking and time in units/cottages which are areas where children reside </li>\n <li>Lift, push, pull, move up to 25 lbs.  </li>\n <li>May be required to apply safety intervention with youth that could weigh over 100lbs. </li>\n</ul>The physical requirements for this position with or without reasonable accommodation are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position successfully.
