Everyone has a role to play and we take ours seriously.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><br>As the <span style=\"font-weight: bold\">Software Quality Assurance Engineer</span>, you will be working to ensure the quality and reliability of our cloud-native applications in AWS cloud environments. The successful candidate will ideally have experience in testing in IoT-enabled systems and/or AWS IoT services in order to ensure our API testing, UI validation and test automation in Playwright is optimized.</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><br>Responsibilities include but are not limited to:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Develop and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for AWS‑hosted applications</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Perform comprehensive API testing for <span style=\"color: inherit\">cloud</span> services (functional, regression, integration, end to end tests and negative tests)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Conduct thorough UI validations across browsers and devices</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Validate end‑to‑end workflows involving UI, APIs, and AWS backend services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Validate deployments on AWS environments including DEV, <span style=\"color: inherit\">QA</span>, and PROD</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Monitor and analyze test results, log defects, and collaborate closely with developers and DevOps teams</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Ensure test coverage for high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance in AWS</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Validate IoT data flows, device communication, and <span style=\"color: inherit\">cloud</span> ingestion pipelines</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><br></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\">Who you are:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">5+ years of experience in <span style=\"color: inherit\">QA</span> Engineering / Test Automation</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong experience testing applications deployed on AWS</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Solid understanding of API testing concepts (REST, HTTP methods, status codes, JSON)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Hands‑on automation experience using Playwright (UI and API)</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Good proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"color: inherit; font-size: 12pt\">Working knowledge of Python for API testing, data validation, and test utilities</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experienced with AWS services</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines in <span style=\"color: inherit\">cloud</span> environments</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Experienced using Git and modern development workflows</span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Strong debugging, problem‑solving, and communication skills</span></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><br>Nice To Have Skills:</span></p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Working experience with AWS IoT Core, IoT Devices or sensor-based platforms </span></li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">Expertise in event-driven architectures (SNS, SQS, Lambda triggers) </span></li>\n<li>Understanding of performance, security, and resilience testing</li>\n<li>Experience with test data management and environment configuration in <span style=\"color: inherit\">cloud</span> setups.<br></li>\n</ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\"><em><br>Please apply even if you don’t qualify for all responsibilities or skills, we still want to hear from you!</em></span></p>\n<p><span>This role is open as we're looking to expand our team!</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt; font-weight: bold\"><br>Why Choose ZTR?</span></p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 12pt\">ZTR offers a positive working environment and a group of friendly and talented industry leaders passionate about driving environmental and financial benefits for our clients.
